I choke on the sip of my coffee, coughing to clear the scalding liquid I accidentally inhaled.
“You good over there?” Jordan asks, sitting next to me in the repair shop’s small waiting room, an eyebrow raised.
“Yep. Fine. Totally fine,” I choke out before I turn around and hunch over, shielding my phone from view as I type my reply.
