Our girl could be intimidating when she wanted to be—perks of being a well-trained actress. And with two more killings under her garter, she was now an unfazed she-devil.So fucking hot.

“Cat call me again, and you can sleep on the couch until your next tour. Pussy privileges revoked.” My brother swallowed hard and nodded like an obedient puppy. He asked for that one. “Playtime’s over, boys. Let’s go.” She winked, dropping her gaze to his lips before releasing her hold and leaving the room, her heels clicking down the hall at every step.

I halted next to my brother, patting him on the back of the shoulder with an exaggerated sigh as he continued to gawk at her exit.

“You’re drooling,” I murmured, following his gaze.

“Who the fuck did we marry?” Lucas chuckled, running a hand through his hair while sucking on his teeth.

A fucking queen.

LUCAS.

Pulling up to the mansion, Tessa’s eyes flared as bright as the lights, taking in the majestic scenery surrounding us. Her stunned silence was deafening as I escorted her out of the Mas, and my brother stepped up to wrap his arm around her waist.

“It’s so…”

“Out of place? Yeah. We thought the same the first time we came here...” Levi hummed while he reminisced back to our initiation.

The year following our ceremony, we attended our first gala, which is where we became better acquainted with Dallas. His father, Cole, had introduced us almost right away. We spent most of that night talking and getting to know each other better, learning that we came from two vastly different worlds.

Dallas had taken us by surprise with how approachable and friendly he was, considering he was a legacy. I half-expected him to be a giant douchebag, but that was far from the truth.

“Holy shit. Check out Dallas’ wife.” I elbowed Levi, gesturing my head to their backs as they entered through the main doors—the train of her slick black silk dress dragging a foot behindthem.

“And I thought the pink was a lot.” He subtly cleared his throat with the remark, bringing a hand up to scratch the back of his neck.

“Shh…” Tessa hissed between us. “I think it’s a brilliant shade of red. Fiery. Feisty. Absolutely fitting for a woman in the MUR.”

“I hope you’re not considering—”I could barely tolerate the pink…

“Oh, I could never pull off a shade like that, or the maintenance required to keep it up. I’m more than happy with the color I was gifted…” She played with a loose tendril of hair, spiraling it around her index finger as she smiled warmly, voice drifting with the words, “So happy…”

Not a day went by that Tessa didn’t outwardly express just how light she had felt after leaving her past life behind. She was no longer hesitant to leave our home as herself, every bit of our gorgeous girl on full display.

“Well, let’s get you in there and introduce you to your future best friend.” I extended my elbow for her, and she followed through, looping hers around mine and my brother’s before we gradually made our way toward the entrance.

“Do you think she’ll…like me?” Tessa winced, second-guessing herself just as we reached the first step.

“Everyone will like you, babygirl.”

“And if they don’t, we’ll convince them otherwise.” I snickered with a broad smirk.

“Always straight to violence with the two of you.” She playfully rolled her eyes and shook her head with pursed lips.

“Not here. Conflict within the brotherhood is how you earn yourself a one-way ticket to hell.” Levi clarified as we passed into the grand foyer, and he quickly handed her a glass of champagne from one of the waiter’s trays.

“And not the nice one,” I added with a devilish wink.

“Lucas. Levi. Aren’t you two a sight for sore eyes?” Dallas wasted no time in seeking us out, which we knew he would. We wanted our wives to meet and bond while we caught up with the rest of the members and leadership.

“Dallas!” I brought him in with a tight hug. “Good to see you again, finally—and this must be your spitfire wife that you’ve been telling me all about?”

“Bria.” She announced with a bright look, extending a hand before turning her attention to our girl. “It’s Tessa, right? I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about you. The menloveto gossip. More than the women, if I’m being honest.”

“And as you can see, my sweet girl is far from shy and full of sarcasm this evening, aren’t you, wifey?” Dallas squeezed Bria’s waist with a charming grin.

“Perks of being a cheerleader. Besides, someone needs to keep up with your cocky personality. Might as well be me.” She bantered, rising on her toes to grip his jaw with her hand, jostling his head before pressing her lips tenderly against his. “Never forget the things I’d do for love, ponyboy.” A soft sigh carried her words before she returned her attention to Tessa, “Come with me, Tess. There’s a ladies’ lounge waiting for us, and I havesomany questions about what it was like living in the limelight!”
