“Wyatt!”

Smirking to myself, I lay her out flat on her stomach, holding her hands above her head in mine. Pushing her legs together, I nudge at her hip with my knee. “Lift.”

She does as I say, and my cock is notched, ready to slide back into her. “Are you ready to come for me?”

“Yes.” She moans as I enter with just my tip, bouncing in and out quickly.

Laying my body on top of hers, holding myself up by my elbows and toes, I really test my plank workout as I slip into her fully.

Shit.I still, or I’ll blow my load right now.

“If you don’t start moving, Officer…” she threatens.

“Yes ma’am.” I chuckle. “You better be ready, because I can’t last much longer with you like this.”

Sliding out and slamming back into her at a punishing pace, she starts to shake beneath me, chasing that orgasm. I drop my own hips so our bodies slide against one another, slick with sweat. The friction and closeness is exactly what she needs.

“Fuck yes!” Her screams are muffled by the bed.

I’m not far behind her when my own orgasm spills into her. Collapsing on top of her until we’re both satiated, I roll to the side, pulling her into my chest.

“Holy shit,” she whispers.

“You love me.” I smile.

“I do.” She wraps her limbs around me. “And you love me. Who would have thought two people totally against love would find themselves tangled in bed, head over heels?”

“No one. I’m pretty sure Coop still thinks I’m going to fuck you out of my system”

“I don’t think I want that to happen.” She pouts.

Kissing her forehead, I pull her tighter to me. “I don’t think I’m capable of that.”

“Good.” She rests her head on my shoulder. “Now we just need to hope that I can come back from the dead and don’t need to run.”

“You’re never running from me. I’ll keep you safe even if he comes here. I promise.” Lifting her face to meet mine, I kiss her.

We settle in close to each other, and I lie in silence, listening as her breathing evens out.

Now that I’ve found the love I always hoped to find, the one that seemed so elusive that I gave up on having, I won’t let anyone take it from me.

Waking up sore in all the best ways, still tangled with Wyatt, is my new favorite way to start a morning, and I never want that to change.

My head still can’t wrap around the fact that he told me he loves me last night. Now today, we get to experience the small town Hallmark vibe Fourth of July festival?

Best. Day. Ever.

I roll over, running my hands along Wyatt’s chest. “Good morning, Officer.”

He grumbles in his sleep. “Ugh. Why are we awake? Aren’t you tired from last night? I’m tired.”

He pulls me close and kisses my forehead before pulling the blankets back up over us. “We need five more minutes. Please.”

“No way! Today is the festival, and I was promised Hallmark.” I hop on top of him. “Time to get up! I want a true, small-town Fourth of July like I was promised. And that starts with coffee and pancakes with strawberries, whipped cream, and blueberries!”

Swatting at his chest, I hop off the bed and throw on one of his tees.

“You might want to put on some shorts.”
