“You still there?” Jamie asks.
“Unfortunately.”
“You going back to Frostholm?”
I look out the cabin window toward Briar Cove waking beneath fresh snow.
“No.”
The answer comes too quickly.
Jamie notices. Interesting silence fills the line.
