I wait while she goes to her car. She comes back with two big plates stacked with iced sugar cookies.

She peers past me to the door, which is still cracked open. “One of these plates is for you, Janie,” she says. “I was going to stop at your place next.”

Janie laughs and steps outside to take one of the plates. “Thank you, friend. I love you.”

“I love you, too.”

Ariel hurries back to her car, and I go inside with Janie, plates of cookies in our hands.

Tag greets us at the door. “Not only did she not rip you each a new one, she gave you cookies?”

“Yep.” Janie takes one off her plate and stuffs it in her mouth. “They’re good, too.”

I close and lock the door behind me, set my plate to the side, and grab Janie’s to do the same. “Now, it’s time to talk.”

Her brown eyes look me up and down hungrily, like she’d rather do something else instead of talk.

“If you look at me like that, doll, we won’t get very far into a conversation.” I stand with my hands on my hips. “This is important—we need to talk before anything else.”

A pink tinge settles over her cheeks.

Tag curls his hand over her blush. “Are you embarrassed, sweetheart? Nervous?”

“Nervous.” She takes a shaky breath. “I don’t want to lose a chance with either of you. But this is such a complicated situation.”

“It doesn’t have to be.” I lead her into the living room. I have to will my cock to settle down when I look at the sofa and remember undressing her there, then eating her out. “It can be easy, if we want it to be.”

“How? You guys haven’t been sharing girlfriends together, have you?”

“No.” Tag sits on the couch and reaches for Janie’s hand. She starts to sit next to him, but he pulls her onto his lap. “And I won’t pretend it’s going to be easy, but we both love you, Janie. We’ll do whatever it takes to make this work.”

“Not only that,” I add, “but what better way to love you and make you happy than by giving you both of us? Anything you want, one of us will always be ready to pamper you, pleasure you.”

“But what about both of you?” Janie’s brow crinkles in concern. “There’s only one of me. How could I possibly be enough, love you enough, to make you both happy?”

My heart squeezes in my chest. It’s just like Janie to worry about something like that.

“It’s not as if you have a finite amount of love to give.” I sit next to her and Tag. “I don’t feel like I’m compromising by loving you with someone else. Do you, Tag?”

“Not in the slightest,” he says without hesitation.

She looks between the two of us. “And, what you said is true? You love me? Both of you?”

“I’ve loved you since you started working for me,” I say. “I tried to ignore it, shove it down, because I thought it wasn’t appropriate. But it’s been there all this time.”

“I never stopped loving you.” Tag squeezes her to his chest. “Breaking up with you was the worst mistake I’ve ever made. I will never do that again, Janie. Never.”

Her eyes shine with unshed tears and she reaches for my hand. I envelop hers with mine, running my thumb over her smooth skin.

“So are we doing this?” I ask quietly. “Are you ready to give yourself…to us? Because we’re already yours, Janie.”

Her smile is beatific. “Yes. I’m ready.”

Tag tilts her face toward his and kisses her, long and slow. When he pulls back, she leans toward me so I can kiss her, too. Those sweet lips move against mine. I part them with my tongue so I can taste her deeply. Sugar cookies. Our girl always tastes like sugar cookies.

Our girl. I’m so fucking happy she agreed, I feel like I’m floating, like this is a dream.

She wiggles in Tag’s lap, grinding against him.
