Mumbles of agreement flow around the room, and I’m sure there will be quite a few brothers who want in on this. It’s a good excuse to go on a road trip.
“I’ll organize it, Pres,” Buzz states, and we can all see he is itching to get involved. Things have been peaceful lately and I think he’s well ready to get his knuckles split and bloody.
“That’s fine, Buzz. Let’s get to training. Oh, Meat, Target, make sure Victoria and Bethy are training. None of this sitting on the sidelines.” Axel looks at me and I nod as I fully agree. We’ve already seen that the women need to hold their own if and when necessary. None of us would want them to be sitting ducks.
Meat grunts to acknowledge Axel, and Target responds. “No problem, Pres. We’ll make sure all the women are training. Victoria started at the range. We know she had a carry permit previously, so she’ll get one here with no problem. Winter has her and Jack crossbow training, and it seems Jack has a knack for it.”
I don’t think it will be long before Jack becomes a full brother, and he’s going to be a damn good one. As soon as Victoria is safe Jack will start working with me at the range. I’m actually looking forward to training him as he’s like a sponge. He sucks in everything we teach him.
“Everyone keep me informed of any changes within the club. Chaos, get your woman settled with a job. She’ll not want to stayif she feels she isn’t fitting in.” Axel gives me an intense look, and I nod.
Specs, however, surprises everyone when he speaks. “I’d like you to consider Victoria working here with me. We have more going on now. It would be good to have someone who can work alongside me and create programs that would make it easier to follow things.”
“I’ll speak to her, Specs. I reckon she’d like that.” I get a satisfied look from Specs, and turn my head to look at Axel, who sees it's under consideration. Turning to the room, Axel slams the gavel down. “Church dismissed.”
