Sniffing a moment before she speaks. “Yeah, I just wish Bethy was here to share this with us. She liked you and thought I would be happy with you.”
“I didn’t meet her much, but I liked her too. It was obvious that she loved you, Vicky. She would want you to live well, and be with me, have my kids, grow old together,” I smirk, and chuckle when she looks closely at me to see if I’m serious.
Slapping my chest with the back of her hand, she grins. “So full of yourself,” she giggles, and I’m happy that I’ve done that because seeing her cry isn’t something I like to see.
Grabbing hold of her, I flick us until she’s flat on her back and I slam my mouth onto hers. She always tastes divine to me, and I’m not sure if I’ll ever get enough of her. I slide my hand under the t-shirt she’s wearing just as my phone plays the Superman tune. That is my Corey tone.
I quickly move from Victoria, remaining sitting on the bed's edge when I take the call. “Hello,” I quickly say.
“Mr. Styles, I have Corey here who has had an accident. He may need to go to the hospital. He has a cut on his arm and the nurse thinks he may need two or three stitches.”
“I’m on my way.” I end the call and quickly tell Victoria what’s happening. “I’ll take him to the clubhouse and Stitch can look him over. Do you want to make him something he’ll like for when I get him back here?”
Vicky nods and quickly agrees. “Yeah, I’ll throw some cookies into the oven. They’ll be cooked and cool by the time you get back.”
I kiss her quickly and rush out to the truck. I’m going to have to get another vehicle because Vicky needs something when I’m using the truck. Maybe a nice SUV will do the trick?
