A hotel.

I’m battered and bruised, and I’m not sure I can handle walking or driving, let alone getting up to anything like what he has in mind.

Fuck it.

“Yeah,” I say.

Asch arches a brow. “You sure? You look like you’ve been through the wringer,” he says.

“I’m sure,” I tell him with more confidence than I feel.

Asch shrugs. “All right. Let’s get out of here.” He smirks at Blaze. “We might need the honeymoon suite this time.”

“I booked us the largest room!” Blaze protests.

Pandora keeps her head against me the entire way to the car.

I’m much, much too tired to complain.

PANDORA

As soon as the door closes, I’m on River.

No, scratch that.

I’ve been on him since we got in the car. Blaze kept yapping, something about not distracting him while he was driving by trying to fuck River in the back seat, but that’s not my problem.

“Pandora—” River tries, but I push him in the direction of the bed and grab at his shirt.

“You were so fucking hot,” I say as I pull his shirt up. “I didn’t even know you had it in you.”

I hear Asch and Blaze murmuring something behind me. Probably logistics, like, did somebody bring lube, and whether we should call up for room service, or maybe if they want to join or watch like creepy voyeurs.

Hot voyeurs, actually.

River’s chest is already showing the telltale signs of bruising, but it only makes him hotter.

“Pandora,” he begins again.

My lips find his before he can finish speaking, and my hands run up and down his arms. He winces, but he took more than that from Reaper.

“Hey,” Asch says from nearby. “Let the man breathe a little.”

“No breathing,” I murmur. “You deserve a good fuck.” I press my nose against River’s neck so I can breathe in his scent. There’s the copper of blood, the ashiness from the warehouse, and his own unique scent, amplified by the sweat and exertion.

My cunt throbs in anticipation.

“That blow where you got Reaper in the face,” I say. “He’s going to feel that for days. Carly’s going to be so sad and I’ll be sympathetic but you were so hot, that violent rage unleashed.”

“I think violence is required for street fights,” Blaze says as he puts his hands on my shoulders. “Maybe River can shower first? He’s kind of filth?—”

I shake my head and slap Blaze’s arm. “No. It’s hotter like this.”

River chuckles, but the sound is strained. “I could use a few minutes to recover, Pandora. Let me shower or something, then I’ll be down.”

“We’ll keep you company until he’s done,” Asch coaxes, touching my arm. “C’mon.”
