I grab the hem of my sweater. “Okay, you’re all being weird,” I declare. My voice doesn’t sound like it’s stuffed up with black goo. “And everybody is way too dressed.”

Demanding and forceful. That’s me!

Yes. This is me.

Asch helps me pull the sweater over my head, tossing it to the side.

He doesn’t ask if this is really what I want, instead going for the fastening of my bra to pull that off as well. The bra is a simple white one without any lace or a fancy design.

“Oh, it’s a boring one this time,” Blaze says.

I knock my hand into his chest. “I thought I was going out for a dull movie night, not murder-and-sex.”

Blaze takes my hand and kisses the palm. “You could wear the sexy ones all the time. You never know when we’ll accost you.”

Asch hums in agreement, his hands sliding down to my breasts and lightly tweaking my nipples. “Then again, it’s not like we want you tostayin the sexy lingerie.”

River is watching me from across the room, and I see his hesitation.

Asch must notice it too, because he asks, “What are you waiting for?”

I extend a hand to River. “I need you,” I state.

It’s true.

I need him, and Asch, and Blaze.

He crosses the room without argument and comes to take myhand. He leans in to kiss me, and despite the way he’s still practically vibrating with anger, it’s gentle.

Like I’m fragile.

I grab his hair and twist it forcefully. When he gasps, I force my tongue into his mouth, showing him just how fragile I’m not.

He groans and takes the hint, his tongue pushing against mine as he deepens the kiss.

My nose doesn’t like getting pushed up against his, but I ignore the pain.

Asch’s touch on my breasts gets firmer, fingers tightening on my nipples and twisting them.

I hum in approval while I continue to kiss River.

Blaze places his hand on my stomach while he sucks on my shoulder.

River pulls away from me, but before I can protest, he pulls his shirt over his head and discards it off to the side. His bare chest is muscled and dusted with hair, and I drink in the sight of him even as Asch and Blaze distract me from him.

“Here, lie back,” Blaze says, pulling me up on the bed. “Let us worship you, Pandora.”

I give him a crooked smile. “Worship me? I hope that includes a lot of nails and teeth.”

“Maybe,” Asch says. “Or maybe we’ll be so gentle that you cry from frustration.”

“That better be a joke,” I say.

Blaze strips down quickly before coming back to me. He nips the palm of my hand. “Asch never jokes. Zero sense of humor, that one.”

“It’s true,” Asch agrees, drawing back so he can strip as well. “I never joke. You and Blaze make enough dumb jokes for the rest of us.”

Before I can respond, River kisses me again, but his touches are gentle again.
