I surprised him then by rolling us so that I sat astride him, wanting a better view of his masculine beauty.
“Fuck,” he groaned, his eyes dark with lust as he eyed me hungrily, guiding my hips as he powered up from beneath me. “I’m gonna come, babe,” he warned, reaching up to tweak my nipples in a way I never knew I liked and now sent me almost immediately into orgasm.
He held my hips, taking me hard before planting himself inside me with a low growl of relief.
I collapsed on top of him, his hands stroking over my back and down to my ass which, judging by the amount of time he spent grabbing it, he seemed to like a hell of a lot.
“In terms of a welcome home gift, that’s slightly better than a houseplant,” I mused, earning a swift slap to my ass cheek.
Chapter 15
RUSTON
Iwoke the next morning just as I’d longed to do for days, wrapped around a naked Grace, her smell surrounding me. Since she’d been sick, I’d forced myself out of bed first thing, afraid I wouldn’t be able to stop myself from taking her. Now, I could finally have my fill, and I intended on doing just that.
After our fight the previous day and the hot as hell way we’d made up, with the exception of a run to the grocery store, we’d spent most of the day at the house. We’d lounged on the couches in the living room watching TV, making food when we were hungry, and walked the property since she expressed a desire to bond with the dogs.
It had felt normal in a way that was completely foreign to me, and I’d loved every fucking second.
My lips skimmed her neck, her answering whimper all I needed as invitation to continue. My hands slid around to cup her full breasts, pressing my hardness into her thigh as the dogs began to bark incessantly.
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me,” I growled as the gate intercom rang, indicating a car requesting access.
“Who is that?” Grace muttered sleepily.
“Someone that I’m getting rid of,” I decreed, slipping from bed. “Go back to bed, baby.” I threw on my jeans and strode from the room. “What?” I barked through the intercom moments later.
“Is that any way to greet your beloved sister?” Ava retorted.
“Fuck,” I ground out, knowing of all the people that could be on the other end of the intercom, this one wouldn’t be going away easily, or at all.
“I’ll call you later,” I tried.
“Right.” She snorted, knowing me far too well. “Instead of waiting for hell to freeze over, I think I’ll just sit out here with your hounds from hell foaming at the mouth.”
“Fine,” I grunted, hitting the button to open the gate. It wasn’t that I didn’t love my sister, I did—I’d just been looking forward to keeping Grace to myself for at least a few more days.
I put the coffee on as I heard Ava’s car pull up. The dogs calmed down when they caught her scent, and moments later, she was through the side door.
“Oh look, you’re alive,” she remarked, coming in for a hug before turning an eye toward the coffeepot. “Oh, thank god,” she sighed in relief.
I chuckled. “I know you need your pot and a half to get going. How’s the car running?” I asked.
“Ruston, you just had it serviced. It’s running fine.” She rolled her eyes.
As her older brother, I’d always been protective. I suddenly realized she and Grace likely had more in common than I’d initially realized.
I wasn’t sure if that realization was welcome or not.
“Where’s Grace?” she asked as she poured herself a cup and took up residence on the couch. As far as seating arrangements went, there wasn’t much else to choose from.
“Sleeping,” I replied as I poured my own cup, realizing my girl slept like the dead. I’d thought it had been because she was sick, but apparently, it was just her. She slept hard and most definitely wasn’t a morning person. I couldn’t fucking wait to learn all there was about her.
“Is she feeling better?” Ava wanted to know.
“Much,” I replied. “She wants to hang out with you and the girls and come to the club—she just hasn’t been up for it until now.”
“Can’t wait,” Ava agreed readily. “We’ll have to have a girls’ day and a get-together at the club to properly welcome her. She is staying, isn’t she?” she asked with genuine concern. I knew she and the girls had taken to Grace during their brief time in Hawthorne.
