“Holy hell, baby, you’re gorgeous,” I murmured appreciatively.
“Thank you.” She blushed, looking down at her outfit. “As always, Grace has exceptional taste. And you look incredibly handsome,” she added, looking over the black-on-black attire Grace had asked we wear.
“Should we clean up before we get the twins dressed?” she asked, looking around Grace and Ruston’s kitchen. They’d offered for us to stay with them, since it was far easier with the twins than staying in a hotel.
They had a full house with us, Emmie and Gunner, and Cole and Scarlet taking over their guest rooms. The rest of the crew was either staying with one of the Royal Bloods or at the hotel in town.
“I can help,” Cole offered, appearing in the kitchen dressed and ready. Though I knew it had been hard for both him and Scarlet to have Grace so far away, they had embraced Ruston as one of their own, with our two clubs forging a deep connection.
He picked Chase up, holding him naturally at his hip, while Frannie lifted Isabelle and I put away our dishes.
The entire club doted on the twins and helped us in any way they could. They’d never lack for love, one of the countless reasons I was grateful to be part of the Knights MC.
I took Chase from Cole, turning to my wife. “You ready to go wrestle these two into their wedding outfits?” I quirked a brow.
We both knew it’d be a miracle if there wasn’t food or some other stain on them within the hour.
“I’m ready.” She smiled as I leaned in for a quick kiss.
And that was just it; building trust with Frannie hadn’t been easy after everything she’d been through. But once she’d decided to jump in, it had been with two feet, and in doing so, she taught me what living a full life really meant.
And I’d spend my life making sure we lived it to the fullest.
CASH
“Do I look like a princess, Daddy?” Riley asked as I finished up with her hair in the hotel room bathroom.
“Definitely,” I agreed as I clipped in a red bow. I’d learned to do her hair so I could help Layla get her ready for school. My two girls were my world, and hopefully we’d be adding to our family soon.
I couldn’t fucking wait.
“I think we’re about ready.” I nodded as Riley stood, outfitted in her flower girl dress. She was growing so fast, sometimes I wished I could slow down time. “We need to go meet up with your mama.”
Layla had offered to be the photographer for the wedding and had gone with Emmie, Ava, and Scarlet to get some shots of Grace getting ready.
Her photography business was flourishing, and the gym was also doing well. Life was good; more than.
“Mama looked like a princess too,” Riley chirped as I helped her into her jacket.
“That she did, baby,” I agreed wholeheartedly. I’d barely had a chance to admire her in her dress and planned to make up for it later.
Layla got more beautiful every day; a fact made all too obvious by the stares she got when she worked out at our gym. I was considering the merits of building out a garage gym to keep her from prying eyes.
She’d say I was over-the-top; she was also used to it.
I looked down at Riley with a grin, taking her hand as we prepared to head out. No doubt she’d be a beautiful woman and I’d have my work cut out for me keeping both the girls in my life protected.
Luckily, I was up for the challenge.
GUNNER
“Now I see why you got ready with Grace,” I growled, pressing in between Emmie’s legs as she sat on the counter of the bathroom I’d pulled her into. “I wouldn’t have been able to let you go.”
Emmie had slipped out of bed early to meet Grace and get ready together at the salon in town where Grace worked.
The maid of honor gown was relatively conservative, save for the slit up one thigh where my hand was currently traveling upward.
“We can’t do this here,” she murmured breathlessly as my mouth found her neck.
