Without hesitation, she wrapped both arms around his neck and buried her face against his chest.

Chapter 34 A Wedding
Two weeks later, Juliet and Cassian arrived at the most luxurious jewelry boutique in the city.
The moment they stepped out of the car, a line of impeccably dressed employees was already waiting outside.
"Welcome, Mr. Han. Miss Gray," the manager greeted respectfully, bowing slightly. "As requested, the store has been reserved exclusively for you today."
Cassian slipped a hand around Juliet's waist, his touch possessive yet gentle, guiding her inside as if afraid she might accidentally bump into something.
Juliet glanced around the dazzling showroom, her eyes widening slightly at the rows of sparkling jewelry displayed beneath crystal chandeliers.
"You booked the entire store?" she asked, turning to look at him.
Cassian's expression remained calm. "I didn't want anyone disturbing us."
Juliet shook her head with a soft laugh.
Tray after tray of exquisite wedding rings was brought out and placed before them.
A handsome sales assistant carefully selected the first ring and approached Juliet with a professional smile.
"Miss Gray, let me help you try this one on—"
Before the assistant could touch her, Cassian's eyes narrowed almost imperceptibly.
The atmosphere instantly cooled.
The assistant froze mid-motion.
Without a word, Cassian smoothly took the ring from him.
"I'll do it."
The young man immediately stepped back, suddenly feeling a tremendous pressure.
Juliet pressed her lips together, trying not to smile.
Jealous again.
Cassian settled beside her and gently took her left hand into his. His large fingers wrapped around hers carefully, as though handling something precious.
The cold platinum ring slid onto her finger.
Juliet raised her hand, tilting it beneath the light. The diamond glittered brilliantly.
She studied it for several seconds before wrinkling her nose.
"No. I don't like it."
Without the slightest impatience, Cassian removed it.
