“True,” Jahrae laughed. “Which means that we still got time to slide by Donavan’s.”
Smiling, I nodded. “Yea, let’s pull up, yo. Fuck it.”
Chapter2
Donavan’s house was the typical rich kid pad. It was custom built with a pool out back. He was black…but was white internally. A Oreo like a mufucka. He was a bit of a show-off and seemed eager to impress us, which was irritating. He was lame, and buggin. So, the minute I saw the opportunity, I branched off on my own.
Eventually, I ended up poolside, grabbing a seat not too far from a gang of white chicks. They were extra friendly, obviously trying to flirt…but I didn’t play in the snow.
Nothing against them or nothing, but I just wasn’t mentally or physically attracted to them, but I could tell that some other niggas had been gassing them up, because they were eventually invading my personal space, goofily laughing, putting their flat, bikini covered asses in my face.
It wasn’t long before one of them attempted to spark up a conversation. She was tall, slender, blonde, with blue eyes. I suppose in her white world, she was the shit, as she moved confidently.
“Hey, I’ve never seen you around.” She placed a piece of hair behind her ear. “What’s your name?” She questioned, hovering over me, as her girls stood back snickering.
Saying nothing, I looked her up and down.
“His name is none of your business, Lidia.”
Glancing over my shoulder, I saw Lil’ ugly approaching us.
“Oh, hey Jahreiah, girl.” Lidia responded, sounding as though she was mocking with a fake ghetto accent.
“I’m not your fucking girl,” Lil’ ugly asserted, as she sauntered around my chair. “Let’s start there. And secondly, take your thirsty ass back to the other end of the pool, where you started. You and your stringy haired friends.”
Saying nothing more, Lidia promptly, whirled around, whipping her pony tail in the process. Lil’ ugly twiddled her fingers, bidding her farewell.
“Toodles.”
Obediently, the white girls literally moved their chairs further down to the other end of the pool.
Shaking my head, I laughed. “Yo, you on your bully shit, shorty.”
She waved my assessment off. “Fuck them bitches. I know they hate my guts but I know how to fight. So, all the white girls learned early on not to argue with me. Cause I love snatching bitches by their thin, lice-laced hair.”
I lightly laughed, knowing that I respected her approach. Mufuckas will play on ya top if you let them. True story.
After glancing around, she spotted a chair and dragged it over, before dropping down into it.
I studied her, as she absently gazed at the illuminating pool. “Where is Jaylah, yo?” I eventually enquired.
She shrugged. “I left her in the house. Her best friend is here. So, she’s good.”
I nodded. “What about shorty you was talking to earlier? She’s here, right?”
“Yeah,” she admitted.
I furrowed a brow. “And you aint kicking it with her?”
“Nah.” She shook her head. “I hit a corner and ditched her.”
“Ditched her? What you do that for?”
“Cause. She kept asking to get hooked up,” she grumbled.
I laughed. “And that was so bad that you had to lose her?”
She sighed heavily, as her eyes traveled to mine. “So, you’re really gonna stay here in Houston? Or is this some type of trial run,” she questioned, finally dropping the act.
