“Well, I have to leave for work, and you’ve got this audition, so...”
I was going to be late for work, but I didn’t care.I took my time dressing him in my old university clothes, smoothing the fabric over his body, kissing him a couple of times along the way.
When I was done, I stepped back and looked at him.“Wow.If I saw you on campus my first day, you would have pinged my bidar like woah.”
“There you go.”
We were both going downtown, so we headed out together. We didn’t talk much, but we kept stealing looks at each other on the subway.
Before we went our separate ways, I clapped him on the back.“Good luck.Or do I say, ‘Break a leg’?”
“‘Break a leg’ is for stage actors.”
“Break a heart then, honey kid.Break everyone’s heart.”
Chapter Thirty-Two: The Potluck and the Photoshoot
On Thursday, he arrivedat my work at noon for the potluck, carrying the pan of brownies I’d made that morning.I met him in the hallway, took his hand, and pulled him into the office.Everyone was in the conference room, so the office was empty.I shut the door and put the brownies on the desk.
“Yeah,” he said.
I unzipped his coat, and we started making out.
“I really wanna,” he said.
“Me too.”
We stopped making out and held onto each other.
“We havereallygotta start having sex first thing in the morning,” I said.
“Yeah.”
“I want you so much right now,” I breathed.I kissed him again, letting it linger.
He glanced at the door.“Do you think we can...?”
