“So why didn’t you?” Grayson challenged.
Keld’s tail flicked across the floor, draped over the side of the bed. Whywashe chasing this particular Omega?
“I don’t know,” he admitted. “Maybe I like the thrill of the chase. Maybe I like the idea of perverting your innocence. Maybe I just have a sick, twisted kink for people who hate me.”
“I don’t hate you,” Grayson muttered.
“Not after what we just did, I hope. You looked pretty happy to me.”
“Shut up,” Grayson snapped. “I never hated you. I was embarrassed. I didn’t want to see you because every time I did, I remembered that terrible date.”
The grin faded from Keld’s face. “Iamsorry. For what it’s worth, what I did was pretty messed up too.”
“You don’t say,” Grayson said sarcastically. “And here I thought only normal, mentally stable Mer ended up dominating Omegas at sex clubs.”
Keld laughed. “Fair enough.”
They fell silent, close enough to feel the energy crackling between them.
“So. Do you want me to guide you down the path of debauchery?” Keld asked. He walked his fingers down Grayson’s bare side. “So you can find yourself, or whatever it is you want to do?”
Grayson rolled his eyes. “Whatever.”
“That is neither a yes nor a no.”
“Fine!” Grayson shoved Keld’s shoulder. “You can try. But we’re keeping it here, at Siren.”
“Don’t want to make it too personal.” Keld nodded sagely. “I get it. Falling in love with meisa pretty big risk.”
Grayson snorted. “I think I’ll be okay.”
“Ah, but you haven’t felt me inside you yet. Don’t be so sure.”
“Oh my god, don’t make me regret this. What days do you usually hang out here?”
Keld shrugged one shoulder. “It’s not like I’m on a schedule. If you give me your number, I can text you when I’m planning a visit. We can even carpool.”
Grayson rubbed a hand over his face. “Jesus.”
Keld grinned and rolled off the bed to his feet. He bent down to where Grayson’s pants lay crumpled on the floor and withdrew a battered phone. “Passcode?”
“Yeah right.” Grayson held out a hand. “Give it here. What’s your number?” Grayson entered the relayed number and sent a text.
Keld’s phone buzzed.
Grayson Miller:Hi
“What’d you save my name as?” Keld asked, grinning. “You’re going to be Freckled Hole in mine.”
“Absolutely not.”
Keld snickered. “I’m kidding. Your name is GraysonAiu.”
“Well, you’re Golden Prick in my phone.”
Keld placed a hand over his heart. “Wow. You haven’t even had me yet, and you’re already calling it golden. Nowthat’sa compliment.”
He would never grow tired of watching Grayson’s pale skin flush.
