Keld didn’t ease in this time either—he thrust himself deep, giving over to the more animalistic impulses. Grayson’s sounds of pain and pleasure were stifled by pillows, but he made no move to escape, nor did the safe word tumble from his lips. He took the abuse, letting Keld rut into him like an Alpha trapped in heat haze.

Air flowed between Keld’s lips in harsh rasps. The flame low in his belly built higher and higher. He watched Grayson turn his head to the side, eyes squeezed shut, fingers curled into the bedding. The muscles of his back tensed under freckled skin, and Keld felt another vice-like clamp around his cock.

He couldn’t hold back any longer. Keld gritted his teeth against the roar that threatened to rip from his chest as he came, hard and deep inside the Omega. Quickly, he pulled Grayson to the side, curling around his body as his knot locked them together.

It was several, long moments before either of them could catch their breath to speak.

“Are you okay, Grayson?” Keld asked gently. He ran his hands along the Omega’s arms and kissed his hair.

“Yeah.” Grayson still shook with exertion. “That was…”

“Too much?” Keld stoked a hand along the curve of Grayson’s jaw.

“No. I mean, it was a lot. But I… I loved it.”

Keld smiled into Grayson’s hair. “You came again, didn’t you?”

Grayson’s ears turned red. “Yes.”

“Seems like rough may be your thing after all.” Keld smirked. “Remember how nervous you were the first time you took my cock? How gentle and slow I had to be to even get it in?”

“Shut up.”

Keld pulled Grayson closer, careful not to jostle the connection. Usually, the extra orgasms were fun for a knotted Omega, but Grayson’s body was spent.

“You took it so well,” he whispered. “Look how well you’re taking my knot.”

“Fuck, Keld. Don’t get me hard again. I’ll die.”

Keld laughed. “Fair enough.”

He stroked soothing circles across Grayson’s arm and shoulder, memorizing the gentle slopes and hard lines. The way his cornsilk hair fell over Keld’s arm. The way his body fit so perfectly against his own.

This was the best part of their sessions—when Grayson allowed himself to just be held. Until the knot went down, Keld could pretend they were something more than just casual partners. He wanted to take the Omega out in public, where people would see Keld with this stunning man on his arm, and where they could talk about something more than sex.

Too soon, Grayson was able to wriggle free. As Keld watched him redress, the words were out of his mouth before he’d even stopped to process them.

“Have you eaten dinner?”

Grayson looked startled. “No, why?”

“Want to grab food together before you head home?”

Chapter 19

Grayson

Grayson gaped at the Alpha as if struck. Keld’s bronze fins flattened against his skull, conveying some feeling Grayson was ill-equipped to read.

“You want to… have dinner with me?”

Keld waved a hasty palm at him. “I just mean we both need to eat, and I’m driving you home anyway, so…”

Right. We already tried the whole date thing and that went spectacularly. He’s just being nice, don’t read into it.

Grayson cleared his throat and dove into his t-shirt, buying precious seconds to formulate a response.

“Yeah, sure.” Now he was tryingtoohard to sound casual. “Just, like… a drive-thru?”
