“’Bout damn time,” I muttered, flexing my fingers. Then I looked over at Sianni. “Now I can finally handle you the way I want to.”

“Boy, please,” she mumbled under her breath.

I smirked instantly because I already knew that attitude was fake.

Truth was, I’d been losing my damn mind ever since getting shot. Yeah, I still found ways to fuck with her, but being limited had me irritated. Sianni’s ass was addictive, and that shit was dangerous. Had a nigga thinking reckless.

“No, sir,” the doctor suddenly cut in. “You still need to take it easy for a little while?—”

“Nigga, who asked you?” I snapped, turning my head toward him.

The room got quiet for a second.

“Nobody, sir,” he said quickly.

“Exactly. Stay out my business.”

“You’re right,” he muttered.

“I know.” I looked back at Sianni. “You ready to go home, baby?”

Sianni shook her head like she was tired of me, but she still grabbed her purse and stood up anyway.

I followed her, feeling lighter already without that damn cast on me.

Before we headed back to the house, I wanted to get some food. After that? I had plans for her ass… and then I’d deal with this rehab shit later.

I was ready to get the fuck back on that field.

The moment we stepped outside the doctor’s office, I rolled my shoulder before flexing my fingers. Finally. I swear, I was tired of that damn cast.

“Stop moving it so much,” Sianni muttered while walking beside me. “Then you’re going to be crying later.”

“I ain’t gon’ be crying about shit.”

“Mhm.”

I cut my eyes at her before walking ahead a little. As soon as she unlocked the doors, I grabbed the handle before she could touch it.

“Kyrie.”

“What?” I opened the door wider.

“Move. You doing too much.”

“Nawl, doing too much would be me driving.”

“And that’s exactly why you're not driving.”

I sucked my teeth. “You act like a nigga crippled.”

“You literally just got the cast off today.”

“And?”

Sianni shook her head while I walked to the passenger side.

Truth was, I probably could’ve driven if I really wanted to, but Shawty would’ve complained the whole damn time, and I wasn’t trying to hear that shit.
