He chuckles again, dark and full of promise. “I can feel how much wetter you just got,” his words are almost taunting. “You like being my good girl?”

“Yes,” I yelp as he slams into me harder before pulling out slowly.

When he hammers forward again, holding still deep inside of me, my pussy milks him and we both groan. He starts to thrust faster, and my body finds the rhythm without needing to think about it. It’s natural.

He reaches between us, his fingers collecting my arousal from around where his length is stretching me open before slidingthose fingertips around my clit. The kiss he gives me is all tongue and teeth, pouring his need into me.

I’m more than happy to take it. Take it all.

“Need you to come,” he growls against my lips.

Knowing just what I need to push me over, he flicks my clit while slamming into me and I shatter. My fingers dig into his flesh as I scream his name. I’m riding the crest of pleasure as he pumps into me a few more times and fills me as deep as he can go.

I feel each pump of his cum as he fills the condom. The tendons on his neck are strained while he makes a strangled sound in his chest. As he finishes, his body slumps slightly and I gladly take the weight of him.

He grounds me as I float down from pleasure that I’ve only ever known with him. When he starts to pull away from me, my fingers hold on tighter. With a small grunt, he flips us and my body drapes over him.

A small whimper leaves me as he slips out of me. We’re still breathing hard, but the way his hand slides down my spine is soothing in the perfect way. He touches me like he can’t stop, like he can’t imagine not touching me.

It’s a heady feeling, one which threatens to overwhelm me. I breathe through it, unwilling to let it make me question what is happening.

Titus has given it to me straight. He allowed me in meetings when I could have been excluded.

His touch turns idle and when I prop my chin on his chest, he’s already focused on me. I blow out a breath, something like dread curling in my gut.

I’ve been ignoring the elephant in the room since I woke up with his face between my thighs. Frankly, he made it far too easy for me to forget about being awoken in the middle of the night. Now that fucking elephant is tapdancing in the corner while wearing a tutu and holding sparklers.

It won’t be ignored.

Even though I’m not sure I’m ready.

“That dog wasn’t the first he had trained and sold,” resignation coats his words. “That’s all he’s done, sold a few dogs. Doesn’t make it right,” he mutters before I can.

I arch an eyebrow, my words a chastisement, “I was going to say that last part.”

One side of his mouth quirks up for a second before it falls again. I understand why. But I still reach for the joke in all the seriousness.

Titus kisses my forehead and whispers, “I’ll let you have it next time.”

I close my eyes and soak up the feeling of his lips on me. I’m weak for a forehead kiss. I wasn’t even aware I had such a proclivity, or that bikers gave them out. But here I am.

“So, it was about the dog fighting ring moving around the area,” I say it as a statement, not a question.

I hate being right about the dog and the whole thing being suspicious as hell. It brings me no joy. In fact, quite the opposite.

“You already know the evidence we found about Bobby.” He pauses and I nod. The transfers are definitely something I remember.

It never seemed like he had money and if he wasn’t spending it, the only reason I can think of is fear. Which means he’s working for someone with pull. And we still don’t know who that is.

“Did the carnie know who was buying the dog? Did he know anything?” I don’t try to hide the exasperation in my voice. I think it’s completely warranted in this situation.

Frustration fills me to the point that it makes me want to scream. But then Titus slides his hand down my back again. The feeling doesn’t go away but it does soften.

“No,” his voice is hard, “he didn’t have any information for us on that front. Whiskey is looking into his phone, but things were set up by people who knew people, the kind of line that isn’t straightforward.”

He lets out a weary sigh, and I just know whatever else he has to tell me isn’t good. Dread starts to claw at the edges, but I swallow hard and try to push the feeling away.

The only reason I’m able to do it is because I know Titus will protect me. Not just Titus, but the entire club.
