“I’m not drunk enough for this.”

“Seriously?”

I leaned forward on the step, catching two figures in the shadows on the side of the building. The girl had the guy backed to the brick wall despite being an entire foot shorter than him. His silhouette shifted to escape when her hand came up and flattened on the center of his chest.

His reaction was immediate. He inhaled sharply, a moan slipping from his lips as his shoulders slammed into the brick. “Fuck,” he groaned in pleasure.

What the hell?

The girl closed the space between them, lining her body up to his and standing on tip-toe to murmur in his ear. A strangled growl caught in his throat, cut off by another moan.

“You were saying?” she purred, brushing her mouth against his. He curved over her, devouring her aggressively, a sliver of dirty blond hair catching the light.

My heart lurched in my chest. I knew that voice sounded familiar.

Ollie.

“Can we get out of here now?” the girl moaned.

Ice poured through my alcohol heated blood, sobering me in an instant. I shouldn’t have been shocked. I shouldn’t have cared. He was nothing to me, nothing but a recurring nightmare in my visions.

Getting to my feet, I dared to turn on my phone and texted Hannah that I felt sick. I didn’t wait for it to fully send as I started walking back to the dorm. Turned out the party was a mistake after all.

Ollie

Flowers.

Some kind of floral something. My nose twitched with a sneeze, which was weird because my room definitely didn’t smell like flowers. Not flowers, perfume. Expensive perfume. The sheets were too silky to be mine, and the pillow too soft.

Notagain.

I shot upright, head spinning and stomach rolling as I spiraled off the bed with a thud. “Shit,” I hissed through my teeth.

A tired moan from the bed had me cringing.

“Where are you going?” Miranda grumbled, sitting up and clutching the blanket to her chest. Unwanted images of me hitting it from behind the night before spilled into my sluggish brain.

Idiot, idiot, IDIOT.

“I gotta go,” I muttered, dizzy from the hangover. Pulling on my jeans, I kept my gaze away from her. The bed creaked.

“That’s it?” she asked, accusation dripping in her tone. “We fuck and you have nothing to say but,I gotta go?”

Hearing her confirm it out loud solidified the rock of guilt in my gut. Jack was going to murder me. Sick an army of rabid raccoons on my ass. Or take a hacksaw to my dick. I ran a hand through my hair, blowing out a sigh.

“Yea, that’s it.”

As soon as I reached the door, Miranda scoffed, “Your welcome for the hit, asshole.”

I hesitated, a piece of the puzzle clicking in place. I’d argued with her outside the party. She cornered me. When I tried to escape, she touched me and it was like an injection of pure ecstasy- Lust so potent, I was rock hard in seconds, mind totally blank of everything but the need to fuck.

“You,” I seethed, rounding on her. I locked my eyes on her throat. Skidding with the invisible force, she crashed into the bed. “What the fuck did you do to me?”

Scrambling on the silky sheets. “Don’t act like you didn’t enjoy it.”

“Youmademe feel that way.”
