He shrugs. I touch his jaw and lift his beautiful face. A flicker of vulnerability shines through.

“Is that what you want?”

“I mean…” He picks at his nail polish. There’s a little alien drawn on his thumbnail. “I’ve never had a boyfriend.”

“You said you’ve been with guys before.”

A scoff. “Yeah, I’vehooked upwith guys— and girls— but none of them wanted todateme. Actually, Andrea is the first person to take me on a real date.”

I’m simultaneously furious at the fuckers (myself included) and elated that no one but our girl was brave enough to try trapping him. I flip him under me, bracing my hands on either side of his head as my eyes greedily devour him. Fucked-out, breathless, flushed— he’s a work of art.

“One, you’re too good for them. Too good for me, too, but I’m a selfish bastard and I want you too much.”

Thesmile appears on his lips. The smile that turned a God-fearing man into a hellhound. I have to kiss it. “Two, I’m glad your first date was with our girl. Mine was too. Believe it or not, she used to like me.”

He laughs. “I’ll take your word for it.”

I kiss a path to his ear. “Three, there’s nothing I want more in this world than to be your boyfriend.”

His arms loop around my neck. “Does that mean I can fuck you again? ‘Cause that was the best sex of my life. Though I definitely came harder when you fucked me, so maybe we can switch every time.”

“Whatever you want, baby.”

He groans as if in pain. “What I want is for you to win back our girl so the three of us can fuck like animals.”

I sigh. “That would require her giving me the time of day.”

He frowns. Suddenly, his eyes bug in panic. “Oh shit, you’re myboyfriend.”

“Yes…”

“What about our parents?”

“Whataboutthem?”

“What do you mean, ‘what about them?’” He snaps. “They’re gonna freak out! Then they’ll separate us. Or send me away again. They’ll definitely send me away. But they can’t because I’m an adult. And you’re an adult. So it shouldn’t matter. It doesn’t matter. Because they’re gonna find out eventually. I mean, we’reNOT doing the secret boyfriend bullshit, I’m so over that. So I guess we should probably tell them.”

“Baby, if you’re not ready to tell them, we won’t tell them. If you are, we will. It’s that simple.”

“You don’t care?”

I kiss the line between his brows. “All I care about is that you’re happy.”

The look in his beautiful eyes shatters me into a million tiny shards. It’s hopeful. But so fucking sad. Like he can’t comprehend someone actually putting him first.

“I mean it,” I murmur, grazing his lips with every word. “Let me take care of you the way you deserve.”

“Ok,” he whispers, then kisses me back.

Sixty-Two

CADE

I think I’m dreaming.

Which is odd, because most of the time, my dreams are more like nightmares. So to have a good dream—a really fucking good dream— that hasn’t ended feels… bizarre.

“Fuck, you’re such a slut for my cock,” Sebastian growls, my scalp stinging from his grip on my hair as he thrusts roughly into my throat. I could die here on my knees, choking on my stepbrother’s dick and my only regret would be that Andrea isn’t watching.
