“Oh, shut up,” Orsen muttered grumpily. “I’m not happy with you now, and I can feel my ass.” He clenched his ass and felt a slight ache. “No sympathy from you and you should have some for me if you got drunk at my age and suffered too.”
“Does your ass hurt?”
“No, but I can tell something happened to it.” Orsen suddenly smiled. “Can we do it again? I think I prefer you to be in charge. I mean, I would maybe sometimes, but yeah, I like you being inside me.”
“You told me. I’ll do whatever you want. I just want to make you happy, and we can have sex again later, but I don’t want to make you feel worse.”
“You can lick it better.” Orsen smiled, then winked. “Did I tell you my friends have all had sex, and Devon is bi and has been getting it on with some kid at school? Apparently, he’s built everywhere, and Devon can’t wait to bend over for him. He asked me to let him know all about it.”
“Teenagers aren’t teenagers anymore. You all grow up too fast. You should enjoy having no responsibilities and be outside having fun. When I was younger, I was hardly inside at all.”
“Game consoles. I need to get one so I can play games with my friends.” Orsen twisted closer and kissed Santino, a huge smile on his face. “I have friends. I never thought I’d have any, but now I do, and I have you as well, and I’ve never been so happy.”
Santino kissed him back, smiling softly. “You’re free now, Orsen. You can have and do whatever you want. Live your life the way you want to.”
“With you? I want you in my life.”
“Well, that’s good because I want to be in your life, too.”
“Oh, I had plans drawn up for the house. Why does it cost so much for someone to put a few lines on paper? When he told me how much, TJ had to take over because I couldn’t say anything except, ‘how much?’”
“You said that?”
“Well, duh! Course I did! I wanted to tell him I could draw a picture of the house and charge half as much as him and still make a fortune.” Orsen glanced away, then whispered, “I didn’t though. That would be rude, but I thought it.”
“Some of them do charge an exorbitant amount.”
Orsen’s eyes widened. “Ooh, a new word. Exorbitant.”
“Means a huge amount, or more than what would normally be charged.”
“I like that one, and it fits.”
“What have you settled on for your home?”
Orsen smiled and snuggled against Santino. “It has two floors and a basement. A wraparound porch. I want to have one of those swings, so when it’s warm at night, we can sit on the swing watching the sun set. That sounds nice.”
“It does sound nice. A place to relax at the end of the day.”
Orsen hummed, picturing him and Santino on the swing, cuddled up under a blanket, watching the sun set. “I’m going to have a large bedroom with a bathroom that’s attached to it. I want a nice kitchen too, and oh! I spoke to TJ about renting out some of my land. Crompton and Pistol and Trace suggested it. They said I could make money without having to sell and I thought maybe when I’m older I might sell. What do you think?”
“I think it’s a good idea to rent some of the land until you know what you want to do with it. You don’t have to decide right now. When are you going to break ground?”
“Er… next month, I think. I have to wait to make sure everything’s in place.” Orsen moved in the bath, the water rising almost to the top. “Do you want to visit the creek with me now that you’re home?”
“I’d love to.”
“Good. I want to show it to you so you can see how nice it is.” Orsen’s stomach rumbled, and he felt his cheeks heat up.
“Want to eat now?”
“Hmm, yes. I’m hungry, and after, we can come back to bed, and you can have sex with me again.”
“Thank you for telling me what I can do later.”
“I did, didn’t I? Sorry, I’m just so happy that you’re back and I want to do more with you because I’ve missed you so much.” Orsen sat up and twisted around in the bath. “Does it bother you?”
“What, you wanting to have sex with me?” Santino stroked his fingers over Orsen’s cheek. “No. Whatever reservations I had are quickly disappearing. I like being with you. I like coming home to you when I’ve been in the city all week. You have no idea how good it feels to know you’re here. You’re not… tainted by life, even though you’ve experienced a horrible time growing up. You see things in a pure way. I see shit all the time with my work. People rob each other, and when they’re found out, they try to kill each other. Sometimes they succeed, too.”
