He balanced on his forearms as we kissed. A real hot make-out kiss. Our tongues flirted and collided. I roamed my hands over his neck and shoulders before moving them to his rib cage.

I wasn’t the only one trembling now.

“I like that. I like how you touch me,” he said tenderly.

“I like touching you. We make a good team.”

“We really do,” he said before kissing me deeply some more.

His length was pressed against my hip and pelvis. It rocked slightly into me as we both moved unconsciously against each other. He was large and hard, and it made me equal parts turned on and intimidated. I wanted to hold him, measure his heft with my hands so I could better figure out how I could take it all in. I could imagine tracing the shape of it through his pants. It made me want to reach between us to stroke him. It made me ache with need like never before. Overwhelmed by unchecked physical desire.

I’d never had this overriding directive to touch and explore. It was always a wish for less sensory stimulation and more hiding out. But Pace made me so bold. In so many ways, he taught me about parts of myself I never knew existed.

What else would he let me do to him in order to help me find myself?

Pace

Slow down.Slow down.

An internal voice warned me that things were moving too fast. That I was close to scaring her or making a fool of myself. Every sense was flooded and felt too good. After weeks of longing for her, my body took control. This spot on the couch with her under me was all I wanted and would ever want again. I was sure of it. I couldn’t stop kissing and tasting her.

When she arched up, her hot core brushed along the length of me, and I almost lost it right there. A zip of electricity shot through my balls that were already so aching and heavy.

I groaned and broke the kiss to rest my head on her chest, moving my body lower to put my dick in time-out against the couch cushion. If she cared that I was now nestled between her big, soft breasts, she didn’t say. Instead, she patted my head and caressed my tense shoulders.

“Sorry. Just need a moment.” I inhaled her clean, sweet skin, rubbing my lips along her collarbone.

But even this plan failed when tracing my mouth against her began to rile me up again, my hips jerking to rut against the couch. I needed some damn self-control.

“Probably a good idea,” she panted. She chuckled, and I loved how it sounded with my ear pressed against her. I heard how her heart thumped as fast as mine. I loved feeling this deep personal connection to her. If we were racing toward some unknown cliff edge, at least we were hand in hand.

Maybe lying on top of her like this was too much like sex. Some ancient part of my brain was confused. If this was only a make-out session, then I needed to get a hold of myself. Lead by example. Be the man she expected me to be.

“Hang on,” I said and sat up.

She blinked, my words taking a minute to sink in. She was fucking gorgeous, flushed with kisses, heavy breasts seconds from slipping out the top of her shirt from her heaving chest. Her dark hair flowed all around her. I never imagined someone so beautiful and perfect would trust herself with me.

“Was that it?” she asked, sitting up. Her fingers traced her overheated cheeks. “Are we done?”

“Not even remotely.” I huffed a laugh.

“It didn’t feel like enough time,” she admitted.

“Come here.” I patted my thigh. I spread my legs, trying and then failing to tuck my obvious boner to the side. There was a small damp patch from my precum that I hoped she didn’t think was the real deal.

Her mouth parted as she looked at my lap. The dark need in her eyes almost pushed me over the edge. I wanted her so fucking bad, I had no idea how to get through this.

She chewed on her bottom lip and didn’t move. Her eager, earnest want written all over her face.

“Jesus, Sophie. If you keep looking at me like that, I’m only going to disappoint.”

If she had heard me, she didn’t respond. Her gaze was still locked on my lap, and my cock jumped at the attention.

“Can I touch you?” she asked boldly, not a hint of hesitation. Maybe that part of her from the other night wasn’t as unrecognizable as she thought.

I groaned loudly and dropped my head back on the couch.
