His hands on my hips, the slaps of our thighs, the feel of his cock filling up all the innermost parts of me. The fever built within my core—growing, burning, roaring, and dragging me under.

“Ah! Ah, yes, Tristan! More! Harder! Harder!”

Dammit if he didn’t comply, pounding me harder still. By then, the screams were coming out so fast, tumbling out on top of each other and leaving me to do nothing but choke out grunts from my open, drooling mouth.

Tristan struck that spot and the dam broke.

I flopped and flailed on the desk, rocked by such an intense orgasm, my eyes rolled up in my head and all I saw was pink.

Tensing, Tristan held me fast—spilling hot and bare inside me.

His legs gave out, and we both dropped—collapsing in a heap on the desk.

Somewhere through the haze, I saw a shadow fall over me.

Ronin stepped over a sleeping Somnus walking over to us. My eyes crossed following the two fingers he held up to my forehead.

“Snap. Snap. You’re dead.” His grin would haunt my nightmares for decades to come. “And that’s how you kill a witch.”

The pink haze suddenly cleared from my mind, handing the wheel to the rational part of my brain. Everything I just did in a room full of people and camera phones just came roaring back to me in pure, naked clarity.

“Oh no...”

Laughing himself sick, Ronin sauntered off. “Class dismissed.”

The demons immediately started packing up their stuff and heading out like Ronin was in charge of the class. To be fair, the real person in charge was snoring away on the floor—using my pants as a pillow.

The fae and vampires did not leave with the demons as a group, but they didn’t see any reason to stay either. Honestly, if I was expecting some big, scandalous reaction to our sudden live sex show, I didn’t get it.

Well, at least I didn’t get it from three-quarters of the class.

Lyall and his traveling pack of alphas kicked Somnus aside marching up to us.

One minute I was trying to fashion some kind of covering out of my ripped shirt, and the next a firm hand on the shoulder was snapping me behind Tristan.

Lyall scoffed. “And you’re even protecting that thing, too? My gods, Tristan, what the fuck happened to you? How could you possibly sink any lower?”

I poked my head out from behind him. “Hey, guys, why don’t you back off? You saw just like everyone else that Ronin put us under a spell.”

Lyall turned a curled lip on me. “Don’t bother with your tricks, demon. Everyone knows that demonic compulsion breaks under an unbendable will, so...” He drifted to Tristan, the corner of his curled lip slightly drifting up. “What does that say of yours?”

Oh,I thought, expression hardening. He’s enjoying this.

“Of course, you’re weak.” Lyall spat at Tristan’s feet. “You let a vampire defile you, and then you let that disgusting, diseased-ridden thing make you its pet and dildo— Seriously, who’s ever even fucking seen warts that big?!”

I flushed hot, but Tristan didn’t. Gazing up at him, he didn’t have the slightest reaction to the taunts of his fellow wolf. To be honest, he looked kind of bored.

No, it was slowly dawning on me that the only reason Tristan was standing there putting up with Lyall’s bullshit, was because he was focused on getting me out and away from them safely.

Shame filled me to the brim. This was the guy I was worried about? The man who sat next to me in the mess hall when everyone else ran away from Ronin? The man who stopped Ravenscar’s fae guard from beating me into paste the first day? The man who was ready to tear down the gates of hell and hunt any and every man who tried to neg me? The man who was hit with a lust spell, and still asked for my consent before having sex with me?

Thisis the guy I’m worried might have my sister locked up against her will?

“No,” I whispered. “Not you.”

I didn’t have proof, and I definitely didn’t have Sabrina’s agreement, but I’d gotten this far by trusting my instincts. I wasn’t going to give up on them now that I’d made the first ever friend in hell.

“But you know what?” Lyall crowed, throwing out his hands as he backed up. “As revolting as your little show was, it solved a problem for us.”
