“Good girl. Are you worried about the water?”
I shake my head. “No, Daddy.”
He gives a tug on my leash. “You’re concerned about someone overpowering me?”
I nod.
“No need, Little pet. The leash is just an extra precaution. I want it to help you feel safe when we’re not in the apartment. I want you to crawl around freely in the grass and play in the sandbox. I won’t always be directly next to you when we’re outside. I’ll have to work from the table sometimes. The leash will ensure you can’t fall to your death, drown in the pool, or get snatched by someone. It will give me peace of mind as well as you.”
I lean my cheek against his shoulder.
“But, Zoey, this building has a lot of security. If someonebreached the front doors with ill intent, Galar would be notified immediately, long before anyone managed to get to the roof. We would move to a safe location.”
“Where?” I ask, my voice trembling.
He points toward the stone wall, where the shower is mounted, and I notice for the first time, it’s not at the edge of the roof.
“The pool equipment is inside that enclosure, but it’s large enough to hide in, too, so I had it reinforced. It doubles as a safe room now. If we got word of someone invading this building, you and I would be totally secured in there before anyone even knew we were up here.”
An enormous weight lifts from my shoulders. Relief. He’s done everything he can to ensure I’m safe. And he did all of this before he ever collected me from the warehouse.
“I was out of town when you arrived on Venkoria, Little pet, but I was also working on improving the safety measures before I came to get you. I needed to hire extra staff, prepare that safe room, have eye hooks installed, order the chains, and many other things you haven’t seen yet. Nothing will ever happen to you.”
For the first time since I was taken from the space station, I give him a genuine smile. He did all this for me. Before he met me. That says a lot about how much he values me.
His return smile is just as broad. His face lights up. “Damn, you are so pretty, especially when you smile. I want to see that more often.”
My face flushes.
Suddenly, he spins around in the water so fast I get dizzy, and a giggle escapes me. When was the last time I laughed?
“Do that again,” he begs, spinning faster.
The giggles bubble out of me. I should be scared in this water, but instead, I feel an odd sense of freedom. Crazy since I’m leashed to the side of the pool. How is that freedom?
But it is. I’m free from the confines of the failing space station. Ihavebeen rescued. What if there isn’t a buyer for all the women? Will some of them get left behind?
I suppose the space station would remain operational for longer than predicted if there were fewer mouths to feed. But would there be enough people left to do all the work?
I can’t think about that now. I’m safe here, on a planet. Venkoria has oxygen I can breathe. I’ll get used to the gravitational pull soon, and then I won’t feel so heavy.
When Daddy stops spinning, I’m so dizzy that I’m swaying. He supports my head, though, as he leans in and murmurs in my ear, “There’s one more sound I want to hear from you, Little pet.” His voice is low and mysterious.
I have no idea what he’s talking about.
His hand that’s supporting my bottom moves between my legs from behind. He cups my pussy and strokes his fingers through my folds. “I want to hear you scream when I penetrate this tight cunt.”
I shudder. “Daddy…” He’s already put his finger inside me. It felt better than anything I’ve ever experienced, but he’s talking about his penis.
Daddy growls against my ear. “I can smell your arousal from under the water.” He pinches my clit, making me whimper. And then he releases the pressure just as fast. “But first, you need a swim lesson.”
I gasp. “Why do I need swim lessons, Daddy?” There’s no way he’s ever going to let me get in this water alone, nor is he going to release me while I’m in here.
“No one should be around a pool who isn’t completely water safe, Little pet. I will work with you every day to make sure you will not drown or even be scared of the water.”
“Okay, Daddy.”
He grips my neck, holding my gaze. “But don’t ever come close to the edge without me, understood?”
