“Sounds good. Once she does, I’ll contact you, or I’ll collect it in a cup and bring it to you,” Daddy replies.
Yamal shakes his head when I crack my eyes open. They are talking about this like it’s no big deal.
“I’ll come to you, or you can come to my office, but we are not going to have her pee in a cup. There are too many variables with cross-contamination. I would rather get the urine straight from her,” Yamal states. “Once she is urinating regularly, we’ll put a catheter in and let her bladder drain that way. It will be easier, less likely that there will be cross-contamination, and it will be less messy.”
My eyes widen when he says the word catheter. I’ve never had one put, but I’ve heard about them whenever we talked about medical studies. They didn’t do it on the space station either, saying it was unnecessary since there was nothing for us to do with it.
“It will probably be in a day or two. That is, if you continue to give her liquids frequently,” Yamal says. “When was the last time you gave her formula?”
“Several minutes before you arrived. It was only two small mouthfuls,” Daddy replies.
“Two small mouthfuls?” Yamal’s eyebrows bunch together.
“She wanted to quickly drink the formula, which made her vomit the first time. She tried to do it again, but I stopped her. So I put liquid in my mouth and fed it to her,” Daddy explains. “It was the only way I could guarantee that she wouldn’t drink it too fast and make herself sick.”
“Like a bird and her baby,” Yamal mutters.
“Not an animal,” I mumble and close my eyes again before I see them looking at me.
“What was that?” Daddy asks. “Repeat what you said.”
I shake my head. There is no way I am going to say that again.
“Repeat what you said, Little Pet, or you will find yourself over my lap.”
FOUR
My mouth falls open as I look at Ronal. He can’t be serious. He is going to spank me because I won’t tell him what I said?
“Ronal, I don’t think you should put her over your lap for something like this,” Yamal whispers. “Maybe if it was something bad and you needed to, but what she said wasn’t disrespectful.”
“I just want to hear her speak again,” he quietly says. “She hasn’t spoken much. I just want to hear her voice and know that she is okay.”
My heart aches, and I blink several times, trying to keep the tears at bay. He looks so sad and depressed.
Why?
“I’m sorry for threatening to spank you just now. I didn’t mean it. I just want to hear your voice and know that you are okay. I just want you to be happy and healthy.” He locks eyes with me.
“I’m not a pet,” I repeat. “I’m not an animal.”
Daddy nods. “I have heard from other owners that humans are not pets and do not want to be treated like you are unsophisticated. I am trying to change my mindset about thatsince we thought you human females were not intelligent and didn’t know how to do things.”
They thought we werepetsthis whole time?
“The other girls?” I look between Daddy and Yamal.
“They are okay, but you won’t be able to see them until I tell you it is okay. You need time to adjust to things. I don’t want you visiting them to hinder you. There are a lot of things that you don’t understand yet or know. I don’t want meeting up with them to shock you, or you cause issues in their new lives,” Daddy explains.
“They are all alive and well,” Yamal adds. “You don’t need to worry. Nothing bad is going to happen to you or any of the other girls who come to Venkoria.”
How do I know that they are telling the truth? For all I know, they could be lying to get me to trust them and relax.
“I want to see them,” I mumble. “I don’t know whether you are telling the truth or not.”
“I said you are not going to see them until I say it is okay. Even then, I will need to talk to their Daddies to check. Some of them may still be adjusting to their new lives, and I don’t want to disturb them,” Daddy reiterates. “Once I know you are okay and used to your new life, I will talk to the other men to see if you girls can meet up. But I will be the one to decide that, not you.”
I open my mouth, but Daddy shakes his head.
