“We will, son.” His dad said, in a tone much calmer than Seb was feeling. “Sit down. All this pacing is making me dizzy. Tanner will get the additional security working, so the house is protected. Saint is hacking the neighbor’s home security system to see if anything was caught on camera. This guy won’t stay anonymous for long.”

The protocol was clear, but it didn’t calm him. He wanted to spring into action.

He was getting married tomorrow, for fuck’s sake, and now he had this hanging over his head like a black cloud. Seb wanted the day to be perfect for Sunny.

“Do you think…?”

Seb whirled around at his dad’s question. “Don’t even dare suggest we postpone the wedding. I’ll set this town on fire before I do that.”

Preacher chuckled and ran a hand over his pointed beard. His hair was salt and pepper now, but no one was more capable than Preacher. Seb trusted his father implicitly. But to suggest calling off his wedding? That shit wasn’t happening.

“It’ll be punks messing around. Maybe some dick you went to school with. Did you steal anyone’s girl back then?”

“Who’s gonna wait ten years for revenge?”

Preacher hummed. “You’d be surprised, kiddo. People are fucking crazier than ever.”

“Well, I didn’t steal anyone’s girl. I was busy with football through high school. I barely even dated.” Sunny had been in a huff with him when he did, and he’d always ditched the dates to make sure his little buddy didn’t pout too long.

They had such a co-dependent, probably dysfunctional relationship, and he couldn’t fucking wait to be her husband tomorrow. He had half a mind to fly them to an all-night chapel and do it on the quick.

Preacher stepped off the bar stool and came to stand at Seb’s right side. His enormous paw-like hand landed on his shoulder as a show of support. This man, who’d raised a kid that wasn’t his, would be at Seb’s side, no matter what.

“This shit is par for the course, remember? Ain’t nothing we haven’t been through before or come out the other end. What’s important is you’re making that pretty little girl your old lady soon.”

Seb’s chest deflated, and he felt himself rush through with endorphins at the thought of Sunny being his old lady. Dream fucking come true.

At that, Tanner strode through the door, giving Seb a nod to let him know the house was done.

“Now, how about I take my boys to get suited and booted for this big thing?” Preacher smirked and cuffed Tanner around the neck when he was close enough to hug them both. “Naturally, I’m gonna be the most handsome fucker there, but that can’t be helped.” He went on. Seb and Tanner looked at each other and smirked before they rounded on their dad.

“Nice try, old man, but you lost your woman-pulling skills long ago. You’re a passable five now. And that’s being generous.” Teased Tanner, and he ducked out of the way of Preacher’s reaching hand.

“That isn’t what your mom tells me. She thinks I’m a straight-up hot ten. She can’t keep her hands off me, and she’s the only woman I wanna pull.” Preacher smirked and headed for the door in his familiar swagger.

“Ugh, why does he always have to put shit like that in our heads?” groaned Tanner.

“Because he knows you hate it,” grinned Seb. “You know, mom and dad had to bang to make you, right? They probably did it more than once.”

Tanner grimaced. “You’re so lucky we got you from the adoption store.”

“Right? No body fluids were exchanged to make me. Unlike you,” he smirked. “Lots and lots of baby juice.”

“I fucking hate you.” Tanner swiped at him.

Seb cackled and followed his father out of the clubhouse. Tanner tagged along behind him. Seb had the same faithful sentiment as his dad. There was only one woman he wanted looking at him tomorrow.

It was the Priest way. He might not be biological, but once a Priest man fell, he fell hard for that woman.

And Seb was marrying his dream woman in just a few hours.

Sunshine

There were zero nerves.

Sunny was brimming with excited flutters in her tummy as the time ticked so slowly. She just wanted to get to Seb, to promise to be each other’s for a lifetime and beyond, so she couldat long lastdeclare to the world she was his wife.
