“Jesus fucking Christ,” he groaned, dropping his head, kissing her so wet and hungrily, mouth fucking her with passion and ownership, she almost lost consciousness before he set her mouth free. She felt Ryan grow harder inside her because she’d said his favorite words. Naughty sweet boy.
“Gonna fuck my woman into February.” He growled a promise and powered his hips like a cannon.
“Ryan, it’s only January.” Lisa laughed, holding onto his shoulders, ready to watch him dissolve into his pleasure.
“Hold on,” he warned.
Holy God, he gave it to her so good, so hard, her hips would never recover, she would need a walker to use tomorrow, or Ryan might have to carry her around like a queen, which she knew he would do in a heartbeat, and didn’t that make her a spoiled woman?
Much later, after the orgasms, after the clean-up, after Ryan had locked up her house and climbed naked into bed with her, he curled around her back, burying his face into her neck as she laced their fingers together.
“Have I told you how much I fucking love you, woman?”
Lisa, though tired in body, would never tire of hearing those words, and she squeezed his hand on her stomach.
“I love you right back, sweet boy.” Then added, “Thank you for doing all the heavy lifting to get us back to where we are now, Ryan. I missed you so much, but I don’t know if I could have been brave enough to pursue you.”
She heard his hot, rumbling chuckle against her neck, and he slung a thigh over hers, as if he thought she might escape in the night. As if.
Who would run away from an adoring biker a second time?
Lisa would always regret that mistake and intended to spend a lifetime making up for it, but she wasn’t stupid enough to repeat it. Being loved by someone like Ryan was a dream come true, a bucket list dream man in the flesh.
“Sweetheart, there’s nothing I won’t do for you,” he murmured in a sleepy rasp. “My woman is it for me. Gonna keep chasing you all over, gonna keep loving you, gonna fuck you as often as I can, keep my woman topped up of all the orgasms I missed giving her.” He promised, and Lisa gulped, feeling a hot stirring of desire in her belly. “I’m gonna protect you against everything, be your northern lights, baby. No man could love you in dangerous, obsessed ways I love you.”
Kisses dotted along her jawline, and Lisa’s eyes filled with happy tears. So happy. They didn’t have all the answers yet to their new relationship, but she knew for certain there was no one on earth she wanted to stay with other than Ryan. She’d be happy for an eternity if she were by his side.
They were figuring out what it meant to love each other properly and openly this time around, and nothing would stop them from being crazy addicted to each other.
It was no longer a risk to love a younger man.
If anything, it was an advantage for Lisa.
Ryan was everything she could have dreamed up on a piece of paper.
He wasperfectfor her.
Lisa knew he probably brought more to their relationship than she did. She didn’t mean materially—he was so much more emotionally available, but she was learning to be the same and not fear rejection or losing him.
Every woman, she thought, deserved a partner who spoiled them with their time, availability, and determination always to pursue them even when they’d won them over.
That’s how lucky Lisa felt.
Ryan still chased her, and she loved that about him.
In turn, she kept her man sweet by baking for him. Wasn’t the way to a man’s heart through his stomach? For Ryan Gold, it was via his sweet tooth. She’d keep him chained to her with cookies and cupcakes. It turned him into a drooling, loyal golden retriever, especially when she let him lick the spoon.
“Ryan?” she said sleepily. “Will you peel an orange for me in the morning?”
“Course, baby.” He answered instantly, and Lisa smiled, knowing he’d pick all the pith off for her, too.
That was her sweet boy, Ryan, who would peel an orange for her, no complaints at all.
If she weren’t so sleepy, she’d ride his face off. But that could be her first morning task. She mentally added it to her to-do list, which she religiously lived by.
“You asleep, sweetheart?”
“Nearly,” she answered in a sleepy slur.
