“We’ve already talked about that. I know where the slut-puppy has been,” grinned Lisa, the others cracking up at her silly nickname for him. “Out on dates, he always has hungry women staring at him, and I’m never sure if he’s slept with them.”

“As a biker’s old lady, you’ll come up against his past a time or two; we all have.”

That’s when they started sharing tales about old flames or flings. Lisa’s eyes grew wide at how the girls handled it.

“I just fuck Devil’s brains out if we ever see any of his exes. Then I stay mad at him for the rest of the day, and he acts like a kicked puppy begging for my attention.” Smirked Kelly. “It’s very cute.”

Just then, a shadow fell over their table, and three men she didn’t recognize were smiling. Being at the end of the booth, Lisa was closest to them, and she arched a quizzical brow.

“Can we get you, ladies, a round of drinks?” one asked, appearing hopeful.

“Oh, here we go.” Muttered Scarlett. “Get ready for it in 3...2...1.”

And before any of them could reply, Ryan appeared, and so did Price.

“Fuck off right now,” Price growled, standing guard next to the club’s very pregnant First Lady. The younger boy looked ready to rip heads off and bury skulls in the desert.

“Move along.” A calmer Ryan issued in his no-nonsense, warning rumbling tone, and Lisa’s belly went into a sexually charged free fall, hearing it. “The ladies don’t want to be bothered.”

“Oh. Okay, dude.” One said, looking visibly nervous at the sight of Ryan. “Sorry, we didn’t mean any harm.” And they scuttled off.

Ryan came to her side, hunched down, and tapped a finger on her chin. “Are you okay, sweetheart?”

“Yep.” She popped the P.

Ryan grinned. “Feeling tipsy, huh?”

“Only a touch.” She held out a finger and thumb in measure. His thumb rubbed her cheek, and she felt the need to crawl into Ryan’s lap. She had it so bad for this man.

As Ryan had told her, he wasn’t wasting a second chance to be with her. Well, she felt the same way about him. That meant not holding back her emotions, even if it was a foreign concept to Lisa, so she leaned forward and nuzzled his nose.

“Thank you for coming over, Ryan.”

“My girl doesn’t need pricks bothering her on girls’ night.”

She grinned so wide at him that she probably had cartoon hearts in her eyeballs.

“I’ll have some snacks sent over.” He rose to his great height, her greedy eyes following his stature, mentally undressing him. She thought she was being so sly about it until Ryan bent at the waist, put his mouth to her ear, and said, “Keep eye fucking me and I’ll take you into the back office to sort out your soaked panties, goddess.”

Lisa visibly inhaled hard enough to suck every inch of air out of the bar.

He meant it, too. She could clearly see that. And for a wild second, she nearly told Ryan to do it.

But then Scarlett broke into Lisa’s debauched thoughts by announcing she was going home. After a few more rounds of drinks, the ladies were one by one collected by their men. It was so cute to see the bikers gather around Ryan until it was their turn to grab their wives.

Only Nina and Lisa were left.

“Are you sure you’re doing okay, babe?” her friend asked. “You can always stay with Tomb and me. We’re decorating the house this week for Christmas.”

She told Nina that Ryan had installed cameras around her house.

“That boy has it bad for you.” She grinned. “He never behaves like this with anyone. He’s watched you all night as if you were the most precious thing in his world. I’m so freaking happy it’s happened for you both.” They locked in a hug. “You must have had to come back to town, Lise. To become besties with me and to meet Splice again. I could burst; I’m so happy for my favorite people getting together.”

Ryan and Tomb quietly approached because Lisa and Nina were too occupied sharing hugs and expressing how happy they were to be friends.

“Your girl is wasted.” Tomb remarked.

“So is yours,” Ryan said, pulling at Lisa’s arm until she let go of Nina and nestled into Ryan’s side.
