There’s no way Sophia and I could even come close to killing Bishop right here in this club. Too many witnesses. Too many of his allies.

I’m sure this place is crawling with undercover security of Bishop’s men. It makes me want to bail.

If I’m spotted, Bishop will have no problem taking me out where no one would even notice. I need my men here and fast.

“Just hear me out,” Sophia says, her big brown eyes wide with anticipation.

I kiss her, because a beautiful woman like this you just can’t not kiss. I want her bad, and the idea forming in her head is something I know I won’t like. “Ok,” I tell her.

“I’ll bring Eddie and Bishop to a bed…”

I interrupt her, “No.”

She cuts in, “Just listen, ok? I’ll bring them to a bed, and say you’re watching from one of the rooms not far away.”

I shake my head. “This is a horrible idea.”

Sophia steps closer, placing a hand on my chest. “It can work. We can stall him to wait for your men.”

“No. I won’t let that motherfucker anywhere near you.”

Sophia’s eyes gaze into mine and for one second I want to take her home, get her away from this place and keep her all to myself. “I can do this. You have to trust me.”

I want to tell her I do trust her, it’s Bishop I don’t trust. The thought of Eddie and Bishop with my girl makes my skin crawl. “Ok, I do trust you.”

“We need to make sure Bishop doesn’t recognize you.”

When we first came to the club, we watched people from a room where we could see everything. It was far enough where Bishop wouldn’t be able to place me. “I can turn the lights down low and watch.”

She chews on her bottom lip and then closes her eyes and breathes in deep. “I didn’t get this far to chicken out over some assholes touching me.”

“Pretend it’s me, and don’t let them get too far. Tease them.”

She nods. “Ok, I can do that.”

“If it gets too out of hand, I’ll be down there in a minute. And then we can go from there. Hopefully, by then Zack and the rest of my men will be here.”

Sophia rubs her hands on my chest as she smiles. “I can tease very well.”

I growl a little, knowing she speaks the truth. Since the first moment we’ve had sex, we haven’t been able to stop. Ever heard the phrase fuck like bunnies? Well, bunnies have nothing on us.

And I don’t appear to be tiring of her anytime soon.

“I’ll be back,” Sophia says as she walks away.

I grab her arm before she gets too far away and spin her around to face me. “If things get out of your control and you feel you can’t handle it anymore, give me a signal. Run your right index finger down your nose and I’ll be down there in a second.”

“Thank you.” She kisses my lips too softly for my liking. “I’m a big girl. I can take care of myself.”

“I’ll be watching you closely.”

She walks down the hallway to find Bishop and Eddie, and I head up to a room.

“Hi there, stranger,” the girl with the kitty cat mask from earlier says. “Where are you heading all alone?”

“I’m busy.”

“Don’t be like that,” she says, trying her best to corner me. “Are you going up to a room?”

“Listen, I’m good here. I’ll pass, thank you.”

“My name’s Rosa. I’m actually looking for your wife.”

I stop at her words, wondering if Bishop knows who Sophia is. Is she walking into a trap? “Let me find her.” I try to walk away to warn Sophia.

“Relax,” Rosa says, grabbing my arm to stop me. “Bishop doesn’t know her.”

“Are you here with him?”

She shrugs. “I’m here with him but I’m not with him.”

“Meaning what exactly?”

“Sophia came by my house the other day. She spoke with my daughter. I need to talk to her.”

I cross my arms over my chest. “About what?”

“I have a few things she needs to see. About her family, and the way she got here.”

I nod. “She’s actually going to find Bishop and well…” I don’t even know how to explain exactly what Sophia is getting ready to do. “She’s keeping him occupied until I can get some men here.”

Rosa’s mouth opens into an ‘o’. “She can’t get near him.”

“Why not?”

“Because he’s an awful man. And I’m not sure if she’ll be able to not kill him. She’s going to get herself into trouble.”

“No, I’m taking care of her.”

“I have to find her,” she says as she hurries away.

I decide to stick with the plan. Any information Rosa has will only help us in our fight against Bishop, so if I let Rosa find her with Bishop, maybe she can find a way to slip the information to her discreetly.
