“Yes, Ezra.”

“Feel how we were made for each other,” he growls, and I match his rhythm. He kisses me, deep and consuming.

I forget about the cuffs, the past, and everything except my mate and this moment. The storm of desire rises inside me. He has built it slowly, and I’m teetering on the edge. He gradually gains speed and eases back from our kiss. Pressing his cheek to mine, he curls his back, keeping our connection.

“Mate, I’m coming,” I whimper as I fall.

“Foxy,” he rumbles, lifting his head.

“Neck,” I gasp. “Mark.”

“Do you want to complete the bond?” he grits out, his gaze locked with mine.

“Yes.”

“We belong to each other.”

“We do.” My lips part as I ride the wave of pleasure he gave me, and my teeth descend.

“Give me your mark.” He tilts his head, holding his neck close to my mouth.

There is no hesitation. My teeth slide into his skin, and I suck. The air is thick and heavy. A celebration of our mating, sparking electricity in the air. Ezra growls low, and I feel him coming inside me. My orgasm continues, the taste of his blood setting me off again. The bond snaps into place, and I can feel everything he is more clearly. It was waiting for my decision to complete our bond.

“Mate,” I hiss, removing my teeth. Licking the blood from them, I swallow and retract them.

“Shit, baby.” All movement stops, and he stays deep inside me. “I feel everything.” He stares at me, his expression awed. “I knew what a stunning woman you are, yet, feeling the depth of your character is another level.” He kisses me gently. “You love me.”

“Yes,” I say softly.

He closes his eyes, exhaling roughly. “I will work every day to be worthy of your beauty.”

“You already are,” I say, and he looks at me.

“I need your arms around me,” he says gruffly. He slides slightly out of me as he reaches above my head.

I stare at his handsome face. I’m satisfied and bonded to this wonderful man. Everything that I have been through has led me to this place, my family, and my mate. He is devoted to me, and I to him. This is how love is supposed to be.

He rubs my wrists gently, lovingly.

“I’m good,” I whisper, and he looks at me.

“They don’t hurt?”

“Nothing hurts.” I smile slowly, and his expression eases.

He pulls out of me, and I hiss. Wrapping his arms around me, he rolls to his back and drapes me over his body. I tuck my arms against his sides, caressing him with my palms.

“Thank you, baby,” he says gruffly.

I prop my chin on his chest. “For what?”

“For trusting me. Loving me.” He brushes his fingers over my cheek. “I had no idea I could feel like this.”

“I know.” I lean into his touch. “Our foxes want to meet.”

“They will,” he whispers. “Running with you will strengthen our bond even more.” He drops his hand and bands both arms around me.

I press my cheek to his chest. “I don’t need to fight anymore.”
