“Uh, yeah!” She nods. “Pretty much.”
Seth looks at me, eyebrows raised, and I drag a hand down my face, avoiding his fucking ocean eyes trying to drown me.
“Yeah, I’m game,” I nod. “But only if we do it at your place, ‘cause I hate doing the dishes, and you’ve got that fancy dish washer.”
Seth shoots me a lopsided smile, showing off that dimple that I’ve seen a million times before but never thought about until now.
“I don’t mind doing the dishes as long as I don’t have to cook,” Iggy says. “I kind of like it actually.”
I snort. “Okay, pick me.”
“Excuse you?” She flicks her head my way. “It’s not pick me to like it clean, you dirty pig.”
“I never said I like it dirty,” I say, glancing at Seth who’s rolling his bottom lip between his teeth suggestively, and fuck him for that because I’m a loose cannon right now. “But no onelikesdoing the dishes.”
“I do. So, bite me!” Iggy snaps.
“Yeah, hard pass. Thanks!”
“We can do it at my place,” Seth says, as the doorbell chimes, and his customer walks in. He gets up to greet him, and they walk over the Seth’s station, and I have to physically force myself not to turn around and stare at his ass as he goes.
“Speaking of dirty,” Iggy says, pumping her eyebrows. “Have you been getting laid?”
“What? How’s that any of your business?” I laugh.
“You made it all of our business when you spent months crying about it all over the studio.”
“I wasn’t crying.”
“There were tears,” she faux pouts, gesturing running tears on her face, making me roll my eyes. “But I haven’t heard you complain one time in the last few months, so… Are you getting any?”
I drag a hand down my face, tilting my head to the side and catch the very reason for my non-existent complaints. I let my eyes linger for a beat before I turn back to Iggy with a smug smile.
“Still none of your business, Sully.”

Seth
I’vebeenworkingreallyhard this past week. I could probably give Bob the Builder a run for his money—my walls are impeccable. I’ve gone over this in my head, over and over. Kaden and I are friends helping each other out, like best friends do. We’re still Seth and Kaden. Only with our dicks involved sometimes. Often. And apparently, slow dancing on his balcony is thrown into the mix. And cuddles. But that’s it! And it’s fine. Period.
I’m not going to fall down the crazy rabbit hole, and hope that Kaden will somehow fall in love with me.
He won’t. He won’t. He won’t.
There.
Okay.
“Lock the fucking door, Seth!” Kaden yells from the hallway. I roll my eyes before he enters the kitchen.
“That seems counterproductive,” I mumble.
“You’re putting too much trust in people.”
“And you don’t put any trust in them. What a pair we are, right?” I grin.
“I trust you,” he says. Then he hefts a thumb towards the hallway. “You got new shoes?”
