“The fucking office, too?” he says as I slide against the wall and he heads upstairs.

My cheeks are flaming hot with embarrassment as I pat down my clothes and head back to the bar. Lain has a goofy grin on his face as I take my seat, and he leans into my space.

“Someone had a good time with Alpha daddy Greer, huh?” he asks as I’m mid sip and I nearly spit out my drink. Lain laughs and presses a kiss to my cheek before rubbing slightly against my face.

“Are you scent marking me?”

“Mmm. Yes. Just because you can’t smell it doesn’t mean everyone else in this bar can’t. You know, the only thing that would make you smell perfect right now?”

“What’s that?”

“If I could smell your sweet scent. At least I’m betting it’s sweet. Maybe you’re in the mood to give a poor man a hint?”

“Do you like being tortured, Lain?” I ask, spinning my stool to face him. My legs are now in between his as he sighs.

“Apparently more than I thought,” he says, his hand now resting on my thigh.

“If you had to guess, what do you think my scent would be?” I tease him.

“Something delicious for sure. Am I on the right track with sweet?”

“Yes,” I give him a quick answer.

“Dessert?”

I shrug my shoulders and Lain clicks his tongue. “A typical dessert?”

“Now you’re getting greedy with your questions.”

He pulls my chair even closer. No care in the world that people are likely looking at us, and I find I don’t really care either.

“I’ll figure it out one way or another, and I won’t stop pathetically begging to scent you.”

“After the weekend. I don’t want to go off my deodorizers for our weekend away, but when I get back,” I say softly. “My scent blockers will stop working at any point now, and it doesn’t seem fair that I’ll be able to scent the two of you and not return the favor.”

“If you’re not comfortable…”

“There’s no one else I’ve considered it with,” I tell him honestly.

He grins, leaning forward and pressing a kiss to my lips. At that point Greer has come back behind the bar and with his hair down.

“Mate, wasn’t your hair up a few moments ago?” Lain asks Greer.

“Maisie likes it down,” Greer says, pushing another beer over to Lain.

“What else does Maisie like?” Lain directs the next question to me and I give him a glare with no heat.

“You better behave yourself if you want to find out,” I tell Lain, and he motions that he’s zipping his lips shut.

The rest of the night at the tavern goes on, with me sadly not bent over any surfaces. When we get back to their house, it’s a completely different story. I spend the night between the two Alphas and one thing becomes evidently true; I love being between the two of them and I’m not sure if I’ll ever find anything that comes remotely close to what I have with the two of them.

Instead of thinking about it, I lose myself to the pleasure they give and hide away all my fears. That’s future Maisie’s problem, and I don’t envy her.

I’m attemptinga second walk of shame into the B&B, though Lain and Fergus are making it near impossible.
