My phone vibrates, and I check the message before putting it back on the table, screen facing down.

Biker Boy: Be a good girl, and don’t make a sound.

I feel the vibrator coming to life inside me. It’s on the lowest setting and, luckily, you can’t hear it. I search the restaurant for Kai but can’t seem to find him. Meanwhile, Alex is talking about his job in California or something. I’m not really paying attention to him, but he doesn’t seem to notice.

“So that’s what I do for a living.” Alex takes a bite of his food before he continues. “What about you, Rachel?”

I take a bite of my food, mostly to ground myself as the vibration goes higher. It’s not working. “I...” I attempt to talk, but my voice is three tones higher than usual. I take a breath and a sip of my wine while I hold my hand up in a ‘wait’ signal for Alex, who’s politely smiling. I try again. “I am a nail techni—” The word is cut in half because the fucking vibration goes to the highest level possible, and I am holding myself back from becoming a mess in front of this man with sheer will. “—cian,” I finish the word. Alex is looking at me as if I’m crazy. I don’t blame him. I definitely look crazy. I take a few breaths as the vibrations go down, and my phone vibrates with a message. “I’m a nail artist,” I say as fast as I can before the asshole turns it up again.

Biker Boy: Look at you, such a good girl. You are doing a very good job maintaining your cover. Now be my good girl and keep talking to your date.

I type a response and then put my phone back in its previous position.

Me: Fuck you.

My phone vibrates again, and I check it before putting it back down without replying this time.

Biker Boy: Soon, little criminal. Soon. This is your punishment for ruining the cameras. If you pass, you will get a reward.

I am going to murder him. I am going to find a way to get him back to the world of the living just to murder him again.

“Are you okay, Rachel?” Alex asks, and it’s the first time I’ve detected a hint of a British accent in his voice. I love British accents, but it turns out I was too busy dealing with Kai to notice until now.

“I am fine, Alex,” I say with a smile and take a sip of my drink. “Where are you from, originally? I don’t think I’ve asked you.”

“I was born here but grew up with my mother in London.” He continues talking about London, his mother, and growing up there. But I’m not listening. Kai has turned the damn vibrator to a higher setting again, and I’m trying to keep myself from coming. And failing. A message arrives right on cue. I check my phone.

Biker Boy: Come for me, sweet criminal. I know you want to.

I attempt to stand, excuse myself, and go to the bathroom until this torture ends, but I fail when my legs decide to betray me. I sit back down. Alex pours more wine into my glass as he continues talking and I continue not listening. I take another sip as if it will help. It won’t. I’m very close to coming. I take my napkin and pretend I’m wiping my mouth with it as I bite my finger to keep silent while the orgasm builds quickly. Kai plays with the vibration, teasing me—low to high and then back to low again—only for a moment before...Oh my god...the orgasm hits me like a train. My head starts spinning. My breathing quickens. And right as I’m coming down, a message arrives.

Biker Boy: Good girl. You may go to the bathroom and remove the vibrator. I will see you at home. Enjoy your date.

I see Kai as he stands up from his seat at the bar and moves toward the exit. The fucking asshole. I am going to murder him.

Kai

An hour after I left the restaurant, Alex’s car appears in Rachel’s driveway. The little criminal didn't find the cameras outside, at least. He parks the car, gets out, and goes to her side to open her door. Such a gentleman this Alex guy is, opening the door for the woman who had an orgasm from a toy another man controlled on their date. I don’t think he knows this specific information, of course, but it’s a nice image to have in mind. For me.I don’t think it would be so nice if I were sitting in his place.

I am in Rachel’s rocking chair in the living room. When I arrived here an hour ago, the place was dark and silent, and that’s how my sweet criminal will find it. I sit in the dark with the lights off, waiting for her. The door opens, and I can hear her footsteps before the room lights up. A scream escapes her the moment she realizes I am here.

“Kai, why are you in my house?” She storms into the room and comes to where I am sitting. Before I can say anything, she slaps me across the face.

“Ouch!” I say as I rub my face.

“Shut up.” She is furious. I love this look on her. It’s a spark, one that I am sure will burn me alive soon enough. I would welcome that. It’s a nice way to die.

“Calm down, criminal.” I reach for her, but she pulls away.

“Don’t call me that. How did you get in the house?” she asks. She is panicking; I can tell. She might even feel threatened now. Our game might have been unhinged, but my sweet criminal is still a woman, and eventually, a survival instinct will kick in.It’s normal not to like a strange man coming in and out of your house without asking. I am psychotic, not an idiot. I am aware of my actions and the effect they have on her. Do I care? No, not really, but I don’t want her tormented in this way either. If my sweet criminal is going to be tormented, it will be in a way we both enjoy.

“I used the extra key I made.” I dangle the key for her to see. She reaches to grab it, and I pull away. “Hey! It’s mine,” I argue.

“No! It is not! You made it without asking.” She reaches again; this time, I allow her to take it.

“What you did at the restaurant was not okay.” Her lips tell me, but her face is a whole other story, like all the times she’s lied to my face before. She enjoyed our playtime at the restaurant as much as I did.

“Come on, sweet criminal, we both know you enjoyed that,” I smirk. “You came so fast I barely had a chance to play with those vibrations.”
