The words rip through the tunnel.
Hannah looks shattered.

Wu moves instantly.
He drives an elbow into my ribs and twists free just as two Sentinel operatives open fire toward us.
I yank Hannah down behind concrete as bullets tear overhead.
“MOVE!” Russ roars.
Gabriel drops one of the shooters.
Lucas hits another.
The woman grabs a fallen rifle and fires directly at Wu.
He disappears behind armored operatives immediately.
Coward.
“HANNAH!” the woman screams through the chaos. “DON’T LET THEM TAKE YOU!”
A Sentinel operator tackles her from behind.
She drives a blade backward into his thigh without hesitation.
Blood sprays across the tunnel wall.
Jesus Christ.
She fights like someone raised inside violence.
My stomach twists hard.
Because that’s exactly what happened.
Hannah suddenly moves before anyone can stop her.
“Wait!”
Everybody freezes for one impossible second.
The woman looks at Hannah again.
And tears instantly fill her eyes.
Not fear.
Recognition.
“You really don’t remember us.”
