“But it won’t be destiny, it will be the curse.”

As she lowered herself onto his cock, she could see it in his green eyes that his resolve was fading.

“You believe in a curse, I believe in destiny. Aren’t we the perfect match?”

She had no idea what she was saying or why. As her pussy took him in inch by inch, she threw her head back and released a sigh of complete, almost delirious pleasure. She loved how his thick, long cock stretched her just right, testing her limits and rubbing against all those spots inside her, even the ones that were usually hard to reach and stimulate. She stopped only when he was all the way in and his round head brushed against her cervix. She relaxed all her muscles, opened herself more, then started moving in a slow, sensual rhythm.

Enzo was mesmerized. At first, he kept his hands on her hips, too entranced to do anything, then his gaze moved from her angelic face to her big, heavy breasts. He cupped them and pinched the hard nipples, earning himself an encouraging moan. What was he doing? What was he thinking? He should have stopped her, talked some sense into her, then grabbed a condom. Destiny? What did she know about destiny? Then again… what did he, a cursed Aries Guardian, know about destiny? She was moving faster and faster now, and his body was responding of its own accord, pushing his hips upward to meet her half way. They were both close now. He could feel her walls clenching and releasing around his cock, as if her pussy was trying to milk him dry, as if her whole body was encouraging him, begging him to give her all he had, fill her with his seed… claim her forever.

Penelope used all her strength and balance to bounce on top of him just right, so his cock hit that special place inside of her. She looked deep into his eyes, a smile playing on her lips. The adoration he saw there made her heart flutter and her core burst with flames of pure love and passion.

“Enzo…”

He cupped her cheek with his hand, and Penny turned to place a kiss on the inside of his wrist. For some reason she couldn’t understand, she felt compelled to look at the tattoo that marked the curse looming over them, and when she couldn’t find it on the inside of his forearm, she grabbed his other arm to check. She couldn’t remember on which arm he had it, but that wasn’t important now, since it was on neither.

“It vanished…”

Enzo tried to make out her words through the haze clouding his mind. He was so close to coming… so close… He didn’t care what she was saying at that point, what vanished and what didn’t vanish. All he knew was that he wanted her to come with him, he wanted her to explode and shatter in a million pieces as he coated her pussy with his essence. He released his hand from her grip and went straight for her clit. It only took a couple of strokes, and she was trembling on top of him, screaming his name as she came in waves and waves of pleasure. With a grunt, he finished inside her, holding her in place as he thrust his cock deep, shooting his seed at the entrance of her womb.

Penny collapsed on top of him. After she regained the ability to breathe normally, she burst out in laughter. Even as Enzo held her at arm’s length, brows knitted in confusion and a hint of offense, she couldn’t stop herself from laughing until tears streamed down her rosy, heated cheeks.

“Well, cielo… this isn’t exactly the reaction I was expecting.”

“It’s gone,” she said, then laughed again. “Your tattoo… it’s gone.”

“What?!”

He dropped her back on his chest and lifted his arms to study them in the intense sunlight streaming through the thin curtains. His left forearm, where the Aries tattoo had been since his birth, was perfectly smooth and white. So white that Enzo thought he could use a tan. It was stupid that the first thing he could think of at such a time was a tan, but what else could he do? His mind was stuck. It was going in circles, like a broken record.

“Hey, are you okay?”

Penny caressed his cheek gently, then wiped the sheen of sweat that had gathered on his forehead, pushing his dark hair back.

“You’re right,” he murmured. “It’s gone… Do you know what this means, Penelope?”

She smiled brightly.

“That I was right?”

He huffed, opened his mouth to say something more sensible than that, then changed his mind. He wrapped his arms around her naked body and pressed a kiss to her plump lips.

“Yes. It means you were right. Like you always are.”

EPILOGUE

The last thing Penelope had imagined was that she’d have a tent wedding. She couldn’t complain, though… The tent looked absolutely amazing, and it was also necessary, what with the intense summer sun hanging low in the sky. Soon, it would disappear below the horizon, bathing the farm and the vast lands around it in orange and red beams. The moon was already taking reign over the other half of the sky with its thin, crescent shape.

As she sat at the head of the main table next to the man who was now her husband, Penny looked around the tent, smiling at the guests who caught her blue gaze and raised their glass in genuine congratulation. Nina and Kosta were seated at the same table as her parents. Most of the shifters they had saved in New York were present, too. Theresa hadn’t been able to make it, but she had sent over a beautiful present for the newlyweds. From Enzo’s part, only two of his brothers were there, and Enzo had reassured her countless times that it was fine, and he didn’t mind. He knew his other siblings were too busy with their separate missions and personal lives. He understood. Demetri and Jace were the only ones he actually kept in touch with, and they were enough for him. They had come with their own soul mates, as they had been lucky enough to break the Aries Curse way before Enzo.

“My beautiful wife,” Enzo whispered in her ear.

She gave him a bright smile. Since the ceremony had ended an hour before, he had been leaning in to whisper sweet nothings to her every five minutes. She was so happy that she was surprised her heart hadn’t burst out of her chest yet.

“My handsome husband,” she said back.

“Mrs. Salvador.”

“I don’t have a come-back for that.”
