Chapter 62

Mia

No man could ever fill me the way Aiden does, and I’m not sure I’ll ever get used to him. Aiden claims my ass in a way that is almost punishing, but Iwantit. I rock back to meet him with every thrust, and the deep groans he offers as he fucks me are my reward. They take me higher with him as he bottoms out, losing the last barbell inside me.

“Harder, Aiden…” I murmur. “More…”

“Look at you, my good girl. There isn’t a part of you I don’t own now. You’re part of me, branded into my blackened heart. Woven into my tortured soul.”

I moan as water spills over me, and I brace myself on the glass of the shower wall.

“Aiden…I…I’m going to come like this.Holy fuck, I can’t…take it,” I tell him, pressing into the glass so hard my hands hurt. Aiden winds his hand in my hair and uses it for leverage, pulling me back to him, fucking me so deep. All the while, his fingers stay over my pussy, and then I’m shattering around him.Screaming his name so loud, I don’t even recognize my own voice as I come. It’s transcendent. I’ve never felt anything like it.

“Mia…” he groans. “Emilia…tell me every part of you is mine.” He pulls his fingers from my clit and spanks my ass.

“Every part, Aiden. I’m yours.” I can feel my ass tighten around him, and then I hear him mutter my name again, andfuck, he’s gripping my hips so tight.

Every part of him stiffens and tightens behind me as he spanks my ass again and growls my name so deep and drawn out. “Emilia…”

I feel everything as he spills into my ass. His hands gripping my hips tight, his warmth as it spreads through me, and the calm afterward as his grip loosens and turns softer, stroking my hips, my low back, as he slows then stops. Once again, he’s changed me forever.

We stay connected like this for a few minutes, coming down from our high. He’s murmuring my name and how pretty I am, telling me how well I took his cock until the waves pass and the sound of our breath evens.

Aiden releases my hip as he pulls himself from me, then reaches down and turns off the water. I’m beyond spent. I stay still just like this for a moment, leaning against the shower glass in the humid night, trying to calm my racing heart. My ass is sore and aching, but he wraps a towel around me before he picks me up and carries me, cradled to his chest, into the bedroom, where he deposits me onto his bed.

I hear him drying off, and then he’s beside me, not wasting a second before kissing my lips, my chin.

My lungs burn from calling out, but I’m so satisfied that I feel like jelly. Like I’m floating. Aiden kisses my lips again and whispers to me how good I did as he holds me close against hischest, and I’ve never felt so connected to another living soul as I do to him now.

“I love you, my pretty girl, and I’ll love you until my last breath,” he whispers as he strokes my arm with the big, inked hands I’ll always feel safe in.

“I love you, Aiden. My protector.” I hum, my eyes closed as I breathe him in.

This is a side of him I’ll never tire of, but I love all sides of him.

This man who I didn’t even know I was looking for, when I was drowning in loneliness and grief, has given me the kind of love that lasts beyond time and space. The dance of fire and ice as they coexist. Equally destructive and strong, unending in their own grace. Eternal, just like us.

Epilogue

Aiden

Seventeen years later

“Well, she’s full of fucking determination, isn’t she?” Archer asks with a chuckle, watching our daughter, Nichole, come flying out the back door wearing her helmet, ready for our ride to the local coffee shop. We do this every Sunday, just like Mia used to with her father. Nichole gets hot chocolate, and I get a coffee. We eat sweets and talk about whatever’s on her mind. Been doing it since she was nine. I told her I needed fifteen minutes to go over some things with Archer, but unsurprisingly, she’s just like her mother and doesn’t like to wait.

What Nichole wants happenswhenNichole wants, and there’s no other way. Her long platinum hair flies out behind her, and it hits me that she’s beginning to look much too old. Today is her sixteenth birthday, but thankfully she’s not too old to want to spend time with her dad. Thank Christ. If that day ever comes, it’s gonna fucking crush me.

“If you don’t hurry up, I’m gonna take it down the drivewaywithout you. It’s my birthday. You have to do whatIwant!” she calls out as Archer chuckles even more.

“Fuck,” I mutter under my breath. It wouldn’t be the first time, but thank fuck, our driveway is hundreds of feet long, so it’s a good place for her to practice, slowly.

She’s adamant that she’s getting her motorcycle license now that she’s turned sixteen, which also scares the shit out of me, but Mia assures me there’s no way I can stop her. She’s grown up with bikes—and bike clubs—her whole life.

“We can talk more about the new supplier tomorrow. I’ll get outta your hair. You’ve got a big day today,” Archer says, standing. He’s getting up there these days, and soon he won’t be riding, but he’s still hanging on as my VP. In fact, my whole club is still intact. Things have settled down a lot, and we’ve managed to keep under the radar for the better part of fifteen years.

But we’ve all changed, especially me. The moment I looked into my daughter’s little face, I knew I had to take this club in a different direction. We got out of the gun market, sold the strip clubs, and partnered with the Hounds, opening new methadone recovery clinics in South Carolina and Northern Georgia, helping veterans and anyone struggling.

In turn, they decided to partner with us, giving a portion of all of our clinic profits to help fund a bigger and betterNicola’s Havenin Savannah that houses over fifty beds for women needing care after abuse. We contract Briggs to come in and teach them self-defense once a week, and in his early seventies, he’s still a tough and gritty motherfucker with a real big heart. It warms Mia to her core to see him be a part of what we’re doing.
