She tentatively moved ever so slightly. A rumble built in Simon’s chest, but he was so large she wasn’t certain she could take much movement at all.

“Why did you say I was strangling you?”

“You are so tight and feel so amazing; I won’t be able to last.”

“Oh,” she said as she understood the concept of him filling her so completely was the reverse for him.

“Rock forward to rub your clit on me.”

She wrapped her arms around his neck and did as he instructed, finding the spot he seemed to understand more than she did. As she gazed into his eyes, she told him without words how much she loved him.

His hands clenched on her bottom, caressing and squeezing her flesh, lifting and rocking her forward as she sought her pleasure. Heat swirled around her. Their breaths mingled, creating a symphony of his moans to her whimpers of need and satisfaction, as his fingers dug into her buttocks.

“God, Caillen my fantasies were nothing to the reality of being inside you. I love you.” He kissed her hard, his body thrusting into her and creating a frenzy of emotion and pleasure to course through her body, as her breast smashed to his chest and rubbed against his course hair she had admired so much. Her senses froze on the brink of that wonderful feeling she’d experienced from his mouth, and she began rubbing and riding him at a pace she didn’t think possible.

Simon pulled down on her shoulders as he rose up with his hips. Faster and faster, he drove into her with a force that should have been painful, but sent her over the edge once more. Her body convulsed around him, clamping down on him, quaking with her release as she screamed into his kiss.

Moments later, he matched her scream with a roar of his own. The music they made was a completely off-tune harmony she adored more than her favorite song. Simon wrapped his arms around her and held her tight; the tension in their bodies releasing as he continued to pump in and out of her with slower, more measured thrusts until they began to laugh.

“Can we do it again?” She asked.

Simon dropped his head on her shoulder, his chest shaking with laughter and making her nipples peak with pleasure. “I may need a moment.”

The door to his rooms slammed open, bounced against the wall, and Simon rolled. He straightened her left leg with one hand and protected her head with the other as they tumbled off the bed. He landed underneath her on the floor with a grunt.

“Caillen you’ll never believe…what are you and Astley doing? Are you naked?” Her sister Robbi asked.

Simon moaned in an entirely different tone.

A nervous giggle escaped her lips. “Robbi, I’ll meet you in the drawing room in just a moment.”

“Do you need some help off the floor?”

“No!” She and Simon said together, their eyes growing wide as they stared at each in silent mortification.

“Go to the drawing room and close the door on your way out,” she ordered.

“But—”

“Go!” She yelled.

The door closed, and she fell on Simon’s chest unable to control her laughter.

“You may have to wait a while to do that again. I think I broke my cock,” Simon moaned.

She pushed up on his chest. “What?”

“I’m kidding,” he said and flung his arm over his face.

She smacked his chest and rose from the floor. Grabbing the bed linen from the mattress, she escaped into the bathing chamber while humming her favorite tune.

Dearest Caillen,

I’m writing this letter knowing that I will probably never see your glorious smile again in this lifetime. I cannot express how much I lament over my loss of a chance for a life with you. I would give anything for just one more glimpse of you laughing with your sisters, especially the free-from-sensor joy I witnessed between you and Robbi when you were unaware of my presence. Although I behaved in a “lily-livered varlet” fashion while listening to your conversations, I was so enamored by the gaiety you rarely showed in my presence, I couldn’t resist. To spoil your gift of laughter felt like I would be stealing a precious moment between the two of you, and that was one thing I would never do.

Unfortunately, Bredlebane had no such qualms. He stole your regalement for life and defiled your spirit. That day, and the days that followed, haunt my existence. My failure to protect you from such malevolence is my deepest regret.
