Cade kissed me like I was a freshly baked chocolate croissant with double the usual filling.

Okay, so maybehewouldn’t kiss a chocolate croissant, but I’d happily make out with one.

Not that it’d hold a candle to Cade.

His lips captured mine with a dominance that made my body hum. His hands roamed up my sides, thumbs rubbing distractingly against my skin as he joined me on the cabana bed.

My bikini top quickly found a home on the floor. The bottoms followed shortly after.

And suddenly all I could think about was Cade’s talented mouth, his strong hands, and the smooth muscles in his back, which I couldn’t stop admiring.

He slowly worked his way down my body—kissing and licking every inch of skin until I spread my legs and he settled between them. His lips trailed lazy kisses along my inner thigh, taking away my ability to form words.

I was already dangerously close to combusting as he lifted each of my legs over his shoulders. When his mouth got to work—joined by fingers that had me forgetting my own name—I could only clutch the sheets in a white-knuckled grip and bite down just as hard on my lip. His eyes were glued to my face, watching every gasp and change in my expression. That level of scrutiny, combined with his tongue doing things that should be illegal, quickly became too much. I arched my back, throwing my head back to gaze up at a sky filled with stars.

It was a spellbinding view—almost dreamlike in its quiet glow. Little fuzzy halos surrounded each star as Cade found the spot that stole my breath.

“Cade,” I moaned, grinding against him, and chasing a high just out of reach.

It was exhilarating. Intoxicating. Way too much for me to handle.

And not nearly enough.

“I’ve got you,” he promised, even though he was the reason I was about to take a free fall off a cliff. His fingers worked some sort of devil magic that dragged another moan out of me. “Let go, Ellie.”

His attention returned to between my legs, and he did something with his tongue that could drive a woman to madness. Throwing out any last inhibitions I might’ve had, I bucked against him until the world exploded in a burst ofwarmth and bright light. I writhed in Cade’s hold, a bit feral as I launched over the edge.

White-hot pleasure crashed into me.

Cade helped me through it all—every rolling wave and tremor, until I melted into the mattress in a puddle of happiness.

I blinked up at the sky, mesmerized by so much more than the view.

“I’m not sure which stars are brighter. The ones up there or the ones you’re making me see,” I whispered, trying to be cheeky despite being embarrassingly out of breath.

Cade’s low chuckle danced across my thigh. “Sounds like I need to try harder so you can know for sure.”

I fell back against the pillows with a laugh. “That wasn’t a challenge!”

He was already kissing his way up my body and finding every spot that had me squirming, until his lips brushed my ear. “Everything’s a challenge, Darling.”

He swallowed my answering laugh with another kiss, which I returned with equal enthusiasm.

Making out on a fancy-ass boat in the middle of the ocean was fun. I never wanted to stop. But Cade had other plans. He gave me a few more kisses before leaning off the bed to grab a water bottle off the deck, and offered it to me. “Drink up. I need you hydrated.”

A smile threatened to split my face in half.

“Well, I need you inside me,” I whispered back, quite proud of myself for the quick comeback with my brain drunk on pleasure.

“Pace yourself, Darling,” he murmured with a smirk. “I need five more from you tonight before we reach the number you told Harry.”

My jaw dropped. “You can’t be serious.”

I’d told Harrison our record was six orgasms from that made-up Slippery Crab position, but there was no way I’d survivethisfive more times. I wasn’t built with that kind of endurance.

Cade gave the water bottle a little shake. I didn’t take it.

“Cade,” I tried again. “Please tell me you’re joking.”
