My gaze was riveted to her chest, her breasts bouncing with each thrust.
“Cade,” she breathed, planting both hands on my chest to ride me faster. “Please—I need?—”
My patience snapped like a rubber band. I took over from underneath her, getting a strong grip before speeding up and pulling a cry out of Ellie. She dug her nails into my chest, hanging on for the ride.
I was half-aware of her mumbling incoherently on top of me at one point. I wasn’t sure how long I even lasted. Everythingblurred together, and all I could focus on was the deafening slap of our skin with each thrust—until Ellie tumbled over the edge and called out my name. Her climax triggered my own, and I pulled her flush against me with a growled curse.
We met at that peak together, Ellie clinging with a ferocity that drew blood from my chest.
When I gave a few more gentle thrusts and the high passed, Ellie slumped against me with a satisfied sigh. We were both slick with sweat, breathing heavily with our limbs tangled together.
Cuddling was a lot more fun naked.
“Forget everything I said,” Ellie panted. “I’m not making it to seven.”
I grinned against the top of her head. “Not with that attitude.”
“It’s your fault for blowing my mind.” She snuggled even closer. “That last one should count for at least three.”
My hands roamed her sides, unable to stop touching her soft skin. “I’ve heard the Slippery Crab is notorious for blowing minds.”
Ellie let out a burst of laughter and untangled herself enough to lean up. She grinned down at me, rumpled hair framing her face and sticking to her cheeks. Her eyes gleamed with laughter. “Thatwas the crab?”
“Couldn’t you tell from the move I did with my hips?” I teased, earning another laugh.
I slid a hand around Ellie’s neck and pulled her down for a slow, lazy open-mouthed kiss she sank right into.
She fit against me like a dream—warm, soft, and the perfect height for me to reach down and cup her ass.
And in the hushed afterglow, with a salty breeze rustling Ellie’s hair against my jaw, my brain kept returning to a single thought.
We should’ve been doing this since the very first night.

I dreamed of saltwater kisses, oven-warm chocolate croissants, and an army of orange crabs scuttling across a moonlit beach.
Instead of waking up on the cabana bed, I blinked open my groggy eyes to find us back in our cabin with no memory of getting here. Clothed in Cade’s navy blue college T-shirt and nothing else, I was draped over his front like a blanket. Bone-deep satisfaction loosened every muscle in my body, leaving me plastered to his bare skin.
I absently trailed a finger over my scratch marks on his chest. Contrary to the horror I’d felt seeing Whiskey’s marks on Cade, mine made warmth dance up my ribs.
Last night had been better than all the chocolate in the world.
Now, the balcony doors were cracked open, letting in a cool ocean breeze. The sheets were warm; Cade was toasty. I was in honest-to-god heaven.
A deep throat cleared, pulling my gaze up to Cade’s dark chocolate eyes locked on me. My fingertip froze against his skin.
Busted.
I splayed my hand out on his smooth chest, too comfortable to be embarrassed at being caught admiring him.
“Morning, cuddle muffin,” I croaked through a hoarse throat. My voice had gotten plenty of use last night.
