I pressed my lips together and stood up, storming out of the Garden and to my palace.I needed something to cool off, to get my mind off of Raphaela because she wasn’t going away unless I made her go away, unless I found someone I could love as much as I loved her.And marry.And become my queen or king, whichever.
When I got back to my bedroom, a single slip of paper rested on my pillow.

Fifteen
Out of all the kingdoms,besides mine, Lust was my favorite place to visit.Cherry blossoms were in bloom all year, leaving pink petals, creating a trail to the castle, where plush pink clouds sat so softly around.
With a bottle of Vemon in my hand, I walked into the castle and to their grand living room.The maids greeted me, giving me small, seductive smiles.I paused behind the doorway, listening to Dani and Eros.
They were lying on the couch, his head on her lap.His eyes were closed lightly.
She brushed her fingers against his forehead.“You still love him,” she said.
He paused.“I love you.”
She grabbed his hand.“You can love both of us, Eros,” she said.“I know you love him.You can’t hide it from me.”
He pressed his lips together.“I do,” he said quietly.“But … I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable with it.I want you two to have a relationship because if you don’t get along, this won’t work.One of us will get hurt.I’ve seen it too many times.”
She giggled.“Lucifer and I have a good relationship.Don’t worry about that.”
“More than sexually?”
She sighed.“Yes.Now just give it a try, please, for me.”
I cleared my throat and knocked lightly on the doorframe.“I hope I’m not interrupting.”
Eros sat up and wrapped an arm around Dani.Dani pushed over and told me to sit next to her.I placed the bottle of Vemon on the coffee table, watching Eros.
Throughout the night, the bottle got passed around until there was nothing left.Dani rested her head on my lap and her legs on Eros’s.
She gazed up at me, then slowly shut her eyes.“You should bring me to bed.”
I gazed over at Eros, who looked over at me, not protesting like I had thought he would.I picked her up, and Eros led me to the bedroom.I placed her down, and she tugged me down with her, lying on her side and curling into my chest.She reached for Eros and pulled him down on the other side.
“Please sleep with me.”
So, we lay there as she fell into a deep sleep.Eros and I were still awake, just staring at the ceiling.
“So, you’re still in love with me?”
Eros pressed his lips together.“Yes.”
We didn’t say anything else after that.Despite my urge to, I didn’t push him to give me more.

Headboard slamming against the wall.Claws digging into my back.Her moans getting lost in the night.Dani grasps on to anything she can hold herself up with as I thrust into her.
“Harder,” she breathes.
I dig my fingers into her hips to pull her closer.Again and again, I thrust into her until her body trembles in my hands.Her eyes, full of darkness, disappear into the back of her head.
When she finishes, she rolls onto her stomach and pushes me underneath her.Her lips make their way down my body, lower and lower and lower until they wrap around me.
She sucks, absorbing the energy from my body and transferring it to hers.Unlike her last victim before Eros, Javier, I feed her without giving her all of me.I lace my hand in her hair and push her down on me so she’ll take more of myself inside of her.
