“Congratulations, Mr. Nightwork,” my driver, Harlow, said. My eyes opened to meet his in the rearview mirror. He’d been one of the few to know of my relationship with Kalin and Spike. “I know you’ve wanted this for a while. I’m glad to see it finally happening.”

I smiled a little. “Me, too, Harlow.”

I knew I still had a ways to go before everything was settled between the three of us—specifically with Kalin. But I’d never stop fighting for them. Never give up on them. They had become the center of my universe, and I couldn’t live without them.

Lifting my phone from my lap, I shot off a quick text to Spike.

Me

How is he, really?

Little Tiger

Confused, I think. He cried a lot. And he’s worried about you. I know he wanted this, but I think he’s panicking now that it’s happening.

Me

I know what I’m doing. I should have done this from the beginning.

Little Tiger

I know you do. He’s just a messy ball of too many emotions, and he’s overly tired from the tour, which doesn’t help him sort through what he needs and wants. He’s always felt things deeply.

Little Tiger

Let us deal with the fam, and then, you and I will take care of him.

Me

And you, little tiger? Your wants and needs matter too.

Little Tiger

I already have everything I want and need, babe.

“You don’t owe them any answers if you’re not prepared to give them,” I gently told Kalin once he was off the phone with Richard. Sliding my arms around him from behind, I rested my chin on his shoulder. He sank back into me, letting me support most of his weight. I tightened my arms around him.

I fucking loved it when he was soft for me. Sweet and needy. Letting me take care of him, even if it was something as simple as letting me hold him.

“We do owe them answers though,” Kalin said quietly. “We’re literally fucking the man who signs our contracts and pays us. They deserve some kind of explanation, whether I’m ready to give that or not. I—admittedly—did not think this whole thing through when I demanded being open. I didn’t expect Richard to do this. I just wanted what me and you have—being open without needing to make some huge statement.”

I snorted and turned my head, pressing a kiss to his neck. “You should have known he was going to go big once he finally decided to stop hiding us, baby. He wasn’t just going to let the world guess if the three of us are together.”

Kalin huffed. “Don’t see why not,” he grumbled, his tone bratty. I smirked into the curve of his neck. “We do. All I wanted was to just stop being forced to hide.”

I hummed. “Well, you got what you wanted, baby. No more hiding.” I stroked my hand over his chest. “Come on. Get dressed so we can go face the music, yeah?”

Kalin sighed, then nodded. I got off the bed, and a moment later, he followed. I watched as he tugged on a pair of tight boxer briefs, then a pair of black skinny jeans that clung to his thighs and ass perfectly. Seriously, if we didn’t need to talk to our friends and then get on the move to go to Richard’s place, I’d tackle him back into bed and have my way with him.

Been way too damn long since we were together like that. We snuck in blowjobs and getting each other off on the tour bus, but we didn’t have sex. Kalin was uncomfortable with fucking within earshot of our best friends, even if they did not have the same feelings.

Kalin and I had gotten intimately familiar with headphones blasting audiobooks and music at top volume.

Kalin disappeared into the closet for a moment, then emerged wearing a dark gray t-shirt repping our band. I was pretty sure it was my shirt since it was big on him, hanging looser than he typically wore his clothes.
