Dominic then told them everything as he wept.Even things they never asked about.His flippant attitude was gone and he had been reduced to a blubbering, weeping child.
Some of the VIM group waited in the living room for the two men to come out.No one said a word as they waited.
Finally, the door opened.Bane and Bastian stepped into the room.
Bane looked around and saw their faces.
Orin wasn’t even present.Cane had earbuds on as he tapped on his laptop and did not look up.
Ari and Sheba looked a bit pale as they avoided Bane and Bastian’s gaze.
Bane looked over at James and sighed.“How long did you let them listen?”
“Too long,” James muttered.“I tried to warn them.I really did.”
“Come on, we need to speak to Sergi,” Bastian muttered.“We have more information to give him.Information he’ll have to verify before he presents it to his Council.”
Bane, Bastian and James went to the hotel.
Ari, Cane and Sheeba went on a hunting trip.
Orrin got busy building a bomb weapon of sorts.
Chapter Seven
When they met Sergiand Yuri in the security room, Bane greeted them.
They all knew Bastian and he shook Sergi’s hand.
They sat and told them what they learned that morning.
“We had no problem getting to Dominic.”Bane shrugged.“Yes he had a bodyguard but we caught them both sleeping.We left the guard tranked and unable to alert anyone so we don’t know if he’s been released yet or not.We took Dominic to our warehouse and we spoke to him this morning.He had a lot to say actually.”He leaned back in his chair.“We now know there are two more men in this charade.A man named Frank Ambrose a.k.a.Aaron Killian.He actually has two roles in the game.He’s not only a killer but he’s a front man and he makes the deals so he’s getting double the money and no one has ever seen his face.So he’s nothing more than a shadow.He’s only playing the fool.”
Sergi growled.“So he not only plays himself but he also plays you at times and now we know he plays as an actual gun and weapons runner.And he can go from one identity to another in the blink of an eye.It must be confusing at times.”
Bane shrugged.“Then we have Jonovich Partross and he happens to be Oleg Partross’ grandson.He usually deals with the European sector.He changed his name often as well so as not to be linked to his grandfather if he ever got caught.”
