Serenity relayed the message to Viktor via text that James gave her.Move your men back.
They all backed up.
Finally, the entire fleet of the arriving SUVs and men all wentBOOM!
James cheered, “Orrin and Cane!”
Viktor’s crew then grabbed the men that were inside that were originally detected.They loaded them all into a van.
Sergi could see Viktor left a few of his men behind in order to secure the compound.He saw no sign of Bane’s family.He looked over at Bane.
He shrugged and crossed his arms.“The act of disappearance is the main rule of survival.”
Sergi smirked at him.
About twenty minutes later, the van arrived at the back of the hotel.
Sergi and Yuri were waiting when the van stopped.
When Viktor stepped out he handed Sergi several papers and driver’s licenses.
Sergi looked at the licenses first.He got to the second one and he paused for a moment then he handed it off to Yuri.
The license read Josiah Wheeler.AKA Jeovonic Partross.
Yuri looked at him and nodded.They found the last one they were looking for.
Sergi nodded back.“Let’s hope he’s the last of this circle here.Maybe we can finally wrap this up.”
Yuri paused, then shook his head.He looked out over the parking lot.“I hate to say this but I don’t think we are done here yet.Can’t you feel it?The air isn’t right.Something isn’t right.”
Sergi shook his head.“I think you’ve spent too much time with Raven.She feels that way as well at times.”
Yuri nodded.“But the thing about Raven is when she feels some disturbance there’s always something bad coming.It never fails.”
Sergi nodded slowly.“I realize that.I thought this was all wrapped up, but I guess we’ll see.”
Both men turned around after they noticed Viktor had managed to get the prisoners inside.They were all in a separate room away from all the other prisoners in the cells and the doctor treated their wounds one at a time.
Sergi came to a stop beside Viktor and asked, “Which one is Partross?”
Viktor pointed at the last one to get treated.
Sergi studied the man and shook his head.“That isn’t Oleg’s grandson.”He looked at Yuri.“Dominic must have given them the wrong man.That man can’t be Oleg’s grandson.”
“Why?”Yuri wanted to know
Sergi shook his head.“The genes.He looks nothing like his family members.I have a feeling Dominic played Bane and Bastian.”
“Well, let’s find out.”Yuri turned and went back to the security room.
When they got there, Sergi went over to Bane and asked, “Are you sure of the name Dominic gave you for Oleg’s grandson?”
Bane cocked his head and asked, “Why do you ask?”
“Viktor’s men brought prisoners back and one of them is Josiah.But I don’t think he is Oleg’s grandson.There’s nothing about the man that I know.I don’t think he’s even Russian.Now it’s just a feeling I have but I believe we got the wrong name.”
Bane looked angry.
