I walked over to Love and looked down at Gio. He was so pissed, mad, and yelling at me, calling me everything but my name.
I looked down at him and smiled while wrapping my arm around Love’s arm.
“Why you stop me, boo?” he asked.
“Because this nigga tortured me; let’s do the same to him.”
Love smiled. “I love the way you think, mamas. You know where he parked?”
I nodded.
Love reached into Gio’s pockets and grabbed his keys, then motioned for Keith and Sammy to come over.
The people around us started to move around and go back to minding their business while others recorded Gio on the ground and laughed.
“Y’all niggas carry him for me,” Love said to Keith and Sammy.
They just did that as I led them to where he was parked. They put Gio in the backseat, then looked at Love.
“Y’all go back to the hotel. We got it from here.”
They dapped Love up and walked off, then Love looked at me.
“You ready for this?” he asked.
I smiled while looking at Gio lying in the back seat. “I’ve been ready.”
Chapter 16
Pressure
Gio was in the back seat, screaming in pain, while I drove back to his house. Islah held my hand tight and stared at me on and off.
“I missed you so much,” she expressed.
I smiled and kissed her hand. “I missed you too, my love.”
Gio kept screaming.
“This bitch set me up! I’ma kill ha! I’ma kill ha!”
Islah laughed.
“You thought you did your big one, didn’t you, Gio?” I said, laughing along with her. “I’m ’bout to show you what it’s like when you are that nigga.”
We got back to the house, and I helped Islah outta the car. We stood there in the driveway kissing, and I gripped a handful of her ass.
“We have so much to talk about,” she stated.
I pulled her into my arms, holding her tight.
“We have so much catching up to do.”
While we were trying to have a moment to ourselves, that nigga was kicking the door and screaming mad for different reasons.
He was mad that I found her, like I wouldn’t. He was mad that I was touching her, and he was mad that she was still choosing me.
“Move to the side, mamas,” I told Islah. “Let me get him out.”
