All too soon, he kissed down the valley between her breasts, his mouth exploring and tasting every inch of her skin. Across the softness of her stomach and over the swell of her hips, down to her trembling inner thighs, his tongue finally found her pulsing bud.

The first stroke made her dizzy with need, her lungs sucking in shallow breaths, her stomach tightening, her back arching off the coverlets.

“Yes… Yes, Philip… Yes!” she moaned, thrashing and fisting her hands in the coverlets as his tongue stroked her.

When his fingers eased inside her wet heat, there was no holding back the tide of absolute bliss. He had barely begun to pulse his fingers when her climax struck, seizing hold of her with its glorious command.

“Oh… oh, God… oh… Yes, my love!” she cried out, not caring that there was a house full of guests who might hear her, not caring about anything but chasing the feeling that swept through her.

It was more intense than anything that had come before, as if the anticipation of the moment had heightened everything. Indeed, the wave was so powerful that she wondered if it might shatter her and didn’t at all care if it did.

Philip’s tongue slowed, and he carefully withdrew his fingers, somehow attuned to the surge of her bliss. In gentler strokes, her bud thrumming, he continued to pleasure her, adding little flurries of ecstasy to the fearsome wave that roared in her veins.

As the potent sensation began to ebb and Selina relaxed back onto the coverlets, panting and dizzy, seeing the wondrous flare of stars as she opened her eyes again, Philip tasted her one last time. Then, turning his head, he kissed his way up her thigh andover her hip, her stomach, her breasts, retracing the path to her mouth.

“I love you,” she moaned as she pulled him close, smiling against his mouth as he kissed her slowly.

“I love you,” he replied softly, before kissing her harder.

They stayed like that for a while, reveling in the intensity of their kiss, his bare body warming hers. She relished the feel of his skin against hers, as if her senses, too, had been heightened. His hair felt softer, his stubble rougher, his skin silkier, his muscles harder.

“We can wait,” he said, pulling back for a moment. “We don’t have to rush.”

She gazed up into his eyes and shook her head. “I don’t want to wait. If I have learned anything from… recent events, it is that I should not delay when it comes to the things I want.”

“You are sure?”

She nodded. “I am sure.”

Her heart was warmed by his concern for her honor and her readiness, proving once again that he was a good man. And not just a good man, but the man she was going to spend the rest of her life with.

I cannot wait for forever.

She smiled up at him, and as he dipped his head to kiss her, she knew that there was nothing to fear. It was not the years of reading that had prepared her, but the safety of him and the promises he had made to her.

“This may hurt at first,” he told her, his hips shifting between her thighs, bringing the heat of his manhood closer to her entrance. “If it is too much, tell me to stop.”

She swallowed and nodded, though she was determined that she would not stop, no matter what.

Reaching down between them, he took himself in hand and guided that hot flesh to the point of no return. The pressure against her entrance made her heart skip a beat and her breath catch, holding an inhale in her lungs as she waited to feel him inside her for the very first time.

“Breathe,” he told her with a smile.

He teased her a little, letting his manhood glide between her slick folds, sending her bundle of nerves into a renewed frenzy. When he was coated in her, he stilled once more at her entrance.

“Breathe,” he repeated as he kissed her.

She exhaled shakily, and as she drew in another breath, he pushed into her.

A gasp escaped her lips, the rush of pleasure and the faint sting of pain catching her off guard.

“Do you want me to continue?” he said thickly, his eyes dark with desire.

She found the capacity to nod, and as she breathed again, he eased deeper inside her, inch by glorious inch. Her body adjusted as if it had known him for a lifetime, taking him in, the sting of pain dulled by the shiver of bliss that racked through her until she was no longer aware of it at all.

“Are you in pain?” he asked, his throat bobbing, his hips stilling as he buried himself to the hilt.

“No,” she rasped, biting her lip as a smile curved her mouth. “No… no pain.”
