Heat moved up my throat. “Take me.”

Dominic did not soften it for me. “Specific.”

“Take me,” I said, and made myself keep looking at him. “While you watch.”

The slit at Dominic’s pupils widened.

Rhain growled at my shoulder, raw and unguarded.

“Little spy,” Dominic said, dark enough that it sounded less like a name and more like a claim.

Then his hand left me.

“Now ask him.”

I turned my face into Rhain’s.

“Rhain. Will you…” My voice caught. “Please.”

His eyes had gone dragon, dark and fixed on me.

“Please,” I said. “Rhain. Take me.”

Rhain moved to the edge of the bed and stripped efficiently. Dominic did not move from the side of the bed.

Rhain stepped out of the last of his clothes and came back to me bare, his body lean, muscled and warm. My mouth went dry at the sight of him.

His mouth curved, but there was nothing easy in his eyes. “Still first?” he asked softly.

My face went hot. “Yes.”

“Good.”

Then he moved onto the bed, and the pillows took his weight as he lay back and drew me up over him. Face to face. My knees outside his hips. His hands at my waist.

Dominic stood beside us, still as a guard and not at all detached, his gaze fixed on my face like he was reading every breath before I knew I had taken it.

Rhain held my hips above him.

I lowered myself one inch and stopped to adjust to the stretch of him.

Rhain’s breath broke. “More.”

I looked down at him and lowered another inch. I stopped again.

His hands flexed at my hips, holding himself still with visible effort.

“Oh,” I said.

His eyes narrowed. “Kjære.”

I tilted my head. “Be specific.”

From beside the bed, Dominic’s breath came out rough.

Rhain laughed once, rough and breathless. “Cruel woman.”

The mark at my throat went hot.
