Fine. I’ll play along.

I still don’t believe a word of this. The portal, the bond, the whole fated mate from across the universe thing. It all sounds like something out of a bad sci-fi romance novel.

Plus, if you’re an alien, how come I can understand your language? How can you read mine? Cause this looks like English to me. Explain that one.

Your move, spaceman.

~Dani

PS: Fair warning that I’m armed and my phaser isn’t set to stun.

My queen.

Never set your weapon to stun. Always set it to kill. As my queen, you will take no prisoners. You will command as I do. You will rule as I do. And everyone will bow at your feet.

Including me.

You were forged in the heart of a dying star, born of fire and fury. You are not soft. You are not meant to be handled with care. You were made to burn, to consume, to leave nothing but ash in your wake.

You will sparkle as you destroy and leave nothing but specks at your feet, my stardust.

I have waited long enough. Are you ready to accept your fate and come to me?

Say the words.

“I, Danika Starbourne, accept you, Orion Thalos, as my fated mate.”

Orion

PS: I’m not an alien. I’m told humans believe aliens to be small green men. I’m neither green nor small. I’m simply from another realm. The reason you can read my writing is because we are fated. We were made to understand one another.

Holy shit.

This is real?

~D

Stardust,

I will never lie to you.

Accept the bond and I will bring you to me.

—Orion

I don’t understand how this is possible.

Aliens are real?

This mailbox is a portal?

~D

Stardust,

Do not forget the most important thing: You are my fated mate.

Come to me now.
