Ugh, I’ve missed those lips.

It's literally been a day since I last saw her, but every second she's not by my side, my heart longs for her.

Wanting her close, needingher close. And surely it's not healthy to be this obsessed with someone. But fuck it, who cares what anyone thinks, let me be obsessed with my girl in peace.

Walking toward her dresser, she rummages around in one of the drawers. “What’s in the bag?” she asks.

“I know it’s not your birthday until tomorrow,” I say, placing the duffle bag carefully down onto her bed. “But I got you a couple things.”

Straightening up with clothes in her hand, she spins to look at me, her face showing shock. “You got me a present?”

It fucking breaks my heart to see how shocked she looks that I got her a present. I know that dick who doesn’t even deserve a second of my oxygen used to always send her invoices when he got her something. And that’s the lowest of the low.Vile.How can you buy someone a present, and then give them the invoice for it?

Shaking my head, I will the anger that’s rising away and open the duffle bag up. Bringing out the cake that I placed in a clear plastic container, that’s specifically for cakes, I hold it carefully and spin around with a huge grin on my face.

But my breath catches in my throat, and I end up choking on my salvia. She’s fucking naked. Gulping, I watch as she slowly pulls on her pink shorts…and my eyes fixate on her boobs as she slowly, painfully, and I thinkdeliberatelypulls the thin strapped top over her head.

Her hand grazes her nipple, and I gulp again.

My cock is hard.

Lifting her eyes to meet mine, I see the mischievous sparkle in them. Shediddo it deliberately. Ugh. Such a little…

“Holy fuck,” she gasps, he eyes zeroing on the container in my hand. “This cake is beautiful, where did you get it?”

Clearing my throat, I divert my eyes away from her hardened nipples that are poking through the silk material and look down at the cake. “I, uh…I actually made it.” I admit with a nervous chuckle.

“You made me a cake?”

“Yes, I did.” I nod.

Grabbing the container from my hand, she gently places it onto her bed and unbuckles the sides, lifting the lid off. “Oh my.” She gasps, her voice filled with admiration as she stands, hand on hip, looking at it.

I attempted to write “twenty fucking one” in cursive, and it turned out okay…if you thought a toddler wrote it. I also tried icing some hearts on it, but they turned out looking like clouds…so all in all, if I was to tell her a toddler had actually made and decorated this cake, she’d totally believe it.

She spins around, tears gleaming in her bright blue eyes as she looks at me. “Greyson,” she mummers, lifting a hand to wipe the tears. “Nobody has ever…” she takes a breath, walking toward me. “You baked me a cake.” She sniffles, her smile widening.

“I did.” I smile, lifting my hand to wipe the tears from her cheek.

“Nobody has ever been this thoughtful before.” She pouts, leaning into my touch.

You deserve the world.

“It probably tastes shit,” I admit with a chuckle. “And I’m not even going to mention how many attempts it took to make the perfect one.”

“Shit or not, you not only baking me a cake, but decorating it…that’s the most sweetest thing ever.”

I smile, remembering there’s one more thing I have to show her. And if she’s crying now, God knows what she’s going to do when she sees what’s coming next.

“I have one more thing for you.” I say, caressing her cheek with my thumb.

“You do?”

“Uh-huh,” I nod, walking toward the bed. “Now, I want you to close your eyes and not open them until I say so, okay?”

“Okay.” I hear her giggle behind me.

Bringing the gift out of the duffle bag, I turn my head to make sure she’s got her eyes closed—which she has, with her hands covering them further—before placing it down onto her desk.
