Spicy.
“Wait,” scrunching my eyebrows together, I grab a book from the bed and flip through it. “We’re focusing on spicy food?”
Because since when did books about spice have illustrated covers, or half naked men on the front of them?
“No,” she shakes her head, laughing. “Spicy in book world means smut. Don’t worry, I had to ask Callie the same thing.”
“Smut?” I’m even moreconfused now.
“Sex scenes.”
“Oh.”
There are sex scenes in books?
Finding the first dark blue tab, she flips it to that page and glances down at it. “Now, read a few books,” extending it to me, I take it from her hand. “And we’ll recap after, okay?”
Uh… “Sure?”
“I’ll be over at your desk, admiring Albert.” She grins, turning to walk in that direction.
“Albert?” It comes out in confusion as I look at her.
“Yeah,” smiling, she points to the typewriter. “Thought I’d name him, and Albert seemed like a fitting name.”
I just nod my head and don’t reply…weird girl.
With the book in hand, I take a seat at the top of my bed, lean my back against the headboard, and cross my ankles together before opening the book to read the “spicy” scenes.

Hours later, many books read, and a fucking hard on I can’t get rid of, all I have to say is…what the actual fuck.
“Wait, I have a question.” Lilly says as she runs her fingers along Albert, the typewriter.
Who the fuck names inanimate objects?
Lilly Jackson, that’s who.
“Hmm?”
“Has a girl ever sucked your cock?”
Choking onair, I snap the book in my hand shut and place it on my lap. How is this girl so bold with her questions?
“Why do you say cock and not dick, penis or I don’t know, willy?”
She laughs loud, tilting her head back. “Willy?” She looks at me. “Who the fuck calls their cock a willy?”
“British people.” I shrug.
“Interesting…willy,” shegiggles. “It sounds like such a weird word…willy, willy, willy—”
“Omg, you can stop repeating it.” Chuckling, I push myself to the edge off the bed.
I’m not even going to bother telling her about the song Michael from my group home showed me once, the song is literally called “Willy bum bum” and if I pulled it on for her to listen to, she’d die of laughter.
“Sorry.” Still laughing, she wipes tears from the corner of her eyes.
