She sucks the juice from my fingers, her eyes never leaving mine, and the sight sends heat straight to my cock.

Her phone vibrates relentlessly on the table, but we both ignore it. I lean in to kiss the corner of her mouth, then her jaw, then the sensitive spot just below her ear. She laughs softly, but it turns into a little moan when my fingers tease the crevice where her thigh meets her hip.

“I have to go…” she murmurs, but it’s so unconvincing I know she doesn’t believe it herself. “That’s probably Aria blowing up my phone.”

I sigh, reluctant to let her go, and pull her closer, one arm banded around her waist as the other hand continues its slow, teasing path along the edge of her thong. “Fine. But the second you get back, you’re all mine, okay?”

She turns in my lap to face me fully, looping her arms around my neck. Her eyes sparkle with mischief and something softer. “Is that a promise?”

“No. It’s a guarantee.” I answer, leaning in to kiss her again.

She stands, and I already miss the warmth of her on my lap. “Text me when you’re done. And tell Aria I said I’m not happy that she’s stealing my girl.”

Sienna pauses halfway to the door, turning back with a grin that makes my chest feel too small. “Your girl, huh?”

“Damn right,” I say, my voice soft but certain. “My girl.”

She smiles, her eyes warm and a little shy. “I like the sound of that. But… we haven’t actually exchanged numbers yet.”

I’m out of my chair in a heartbeat. Two long strides, and I’m right in front of her. I hold out my hand for her phone. When she hands it to me, I spin her gently, pull her back against my chest, and wrap my arms around her from behind. My chin rests on her shoulder as one hand splays protectively over her stomach.

“Unlock it.” I murmur.

She laughs softly and taps in her passcode. I quickly type my number in, call myself, then slide her phone into the bag slung over her shoulder.

“There,” I whisper. “Now you have no excuse not to text me.”

She spins in my arms, presses a lingering kiss to my lips, and slips out of the door all within ten seconds. And I’m left standing there with a ridiculous smile on my face and a very obvious problem tenting in my shorts.

I shake my head, still grinning. Yeah… I’m in deep. And I don’t want to come up for air.

My phone buzzes in my pocket seconds later. I pull it out, half expecting it to be a text from Sienna, already missing me and my hands on her. Instead, it’s Ethan. My brows furrow instantly.

Ethan:

Aria just abandoned me for the day. Mani-pedis with the girls. She said, “girl time,” and left me here like a sad puppy.

We should go to the pool and wait for our girls to come back. Misery loves company.

Bring snacks. I’m already bored.

I snort and type back quickly.

Me:

You’re pathetic. But fine. I’ll meet you there in ten.

And I’m not bringing snacks. You can suffer with me.

Ethan replies almost instantly with a string of crying emojis and a middle finger.

I shake my head, smiling, and gather everything I need before heading to the pool.

Droppingonto the lounger beside Ethan, the sun is already warm on my skin. Jax and Ryan are already there, stretched out and talking about everything from tonight's football game to college memories.

Jax nudges me with his elbow the second I sit down. “So… you and Sienna. You two looked pretty cozy last night. And that proposal? Ryan showed me the videos. He won’t shut up about it.”

“Wait, you were there?” I ask. I guess I was so caught up with Sienna that I didn’t consider who else was there. All I could focus on was her.
